I duno, bout 2 years later i played against him, went in for a tackle, admittedly i went absolutely full throttle into the tackle, met the ball at exact same time as him and he snapped his ankle, that ring any bells?

Just gotta love the outrage when Costa did it

But the outrage when Skrtel is banned for it!?

Two wrongs and all that

Who is this <clown>?

What outrage about Skrtel? Everyone has said he deserved it.

Nope - I was like teflon. Ruptured my meniscus once and that was from my own keeper but other than that never had a bad injury.

I'd rather have your injury than his though! But sound very nasty though. Does your knee still pop out now?

Naw thankfully ive had no bother with my knee since, maybe a slight, slight weakness but no real bother.

Good stuff. Too far to say "no harm done then"?

Can't believe Evans denied spitting

posted on 25/3/15

Well its quite a while but from what i remember i was out of action for about 4/5 months, but took a good year/year and a half before it felt normal.

posted on 25/3/15

Should he not have got an extra game for denying it? The same as Evans should for his spit. Other players have gotten an extra game ban for denying it, Why have these two got away with it?

Hopefully Lovren or Toure can step up. I have my doubts though.

I think they only add another game if you appeal don't they?

I can't see that Instagram post getting anything extra.

And rightly so.

Oh I dunno righteous. I'm sure there is a precedent somewhere but can't quite remember. The FA don't like people coming at them.

Maybe he is showing pics of clowns for his kids upcing birthday party?

MAYBE he likes clowns
There is not enough there to ban him futthrr i think.but this is the fa after all

Robbing I have something on the edges of my memory as well...

Something to do with disrespecting the process or the organisation...

That said this is quite mild I would be surprised if they did something.

Maybe he is calling himself a clown for needlessly stamping on a defenceless player and missing out on 3 important games.

posted on 25/3/15

Maybe it's because the pick and choose who they punish. Costa stamped on him and then in the same game Skrtel was punished, Rooney kicked out at Mignolet.

It does seem like clowns are making the decisions, how else can it be explained?

To be fair, the Rio thing did somewhat set a precedent in that kind of situation. There's no actual proof he's saying something potentially insulting about Cole, but everyone knows he is. Likewise with Skrtel, no one can prove the clowns remark is directed at the FA but they'll do him for it anyway. All to do with the timing and the context I think.

Probably get him an extra game's ban or even just a 20k fine or something stupid like that. Just seems a really stupid thing to do when there is absolutely no way even ardent Liverpool fans can claim he'd done nothing wrong.

..........................................

The Roobey challenge was a yellow card type challenge, the FA don't give out bans for things deemed worthy of yellow cards.

in reference to the instagram post, my memory may be failing me here, but something is popping up about ryan babel doing something similar, it might have been making fun of a ref or something, no idea if he got a ban though, maybe someone with a clearer memory may know
