My tuppence worth.
Beeb probably had no choice really.
Personally disappointed, as I enjoyed Top Gear ... but that's basically the end of the show, on the Beeb anyway, as the other 2 presenters will almost certainly quit.
Hardly think the presenters were (to paraphrase) "swanning about the globe, driving unaffordable cars at the licence payers' expense". This programme made an absolute fortune for the BBC every year.
To those saying it was a load of pash, I'm struggling to think of a regular BBC programme that's EVER had a bigger worldwide audience, so plenty would obviously disagree.

if folk don't like him why don't they switch to something else
aye bit bit bit
Personally I thought that Cooper was the böllox, but Spiers made a good argument, and part of what he said you have to agree with.
So you disagree with him but he makes a good point

Hi I'm Graham speirs.
I have little or no knowledge so I'll offer something completely wrong and controversial to get the attention my pathetic soul seeks.
My iq is low, my experience is zero, but if I'm really disrespectful and inflammatory then maybe someone will listen to me.
Better off not posting this bottom feeders thoughts mate (y)

I'm sure he will have a sleepless night over your and everyone else's comments
more like wondering what tv company to sign up to next and how many millions they will pay him
Graham Spiers simply regurgitated an article he wrote for the 10th anniversary of Coopers death but is lauded as being a good journalist???!!!!

Honestly, try and spot the difference.
I couldn't ever envisage a situation whereby a journalist would be cited as an expert witness.
