I feel the dropping of Lampard has been more pivotal.

There you are.. I see you've been missing all week after a series of failed predictions once again. Please bet on us to lose to Villa as well.
It was ment as a mild humoured tongue in cheek article however there is a hint of truth to it as well 🙈 and gb none of those players u mentioned played for us.. 👌 and you put terry in there and he is still England's best defender and one of the best of all time...
I know people say he is crap when really he is much better than that he is actually below average much better than crap 😂

Terry is nowhere near the likes of Moore, Charlton and Hunter
Johnson has not always been carp but rival fans have always said it. We didn't listen when he was not carp and we didn't listen when he was carp. At least we are consistent.
There will always be idiots who call international full backs from top clubs and countries crap. Of course nobody listens.
I would say some of his performances for us over the last few years have really been beyond hopeless and I'm not talking about his defensive play like most people slate him for... Yes he had decent games but when he had a bad day (more and more frequently) he was at time terrible, running into opposition players, simple passes going out for throw ins, easy crosses hitting first man, caught out of position and of coarse struggling to make 5 yard passes... 😯
Article coincidentally applies to Gerrard aswell
Nonsense article.
We played better football last season than we have this season, when Johnsons a regular.
We don't look more 'sold' because that doesn't make sense.
England have about the easiest group in the history of easy groups. They are making it look easy, because it is easy. Johnson would be having just as much as a field day against these showers as anyone else. Welbeck is top scorer in the whole thing FFS
So in conclusion, absolute bull shizzle article on every conceivable level.
Er...
What Righteous said.
Terry was ace in the premiership, decent in the CL and exposed when playing for England.
He's no where near the international quality of players like Rio and Sol.
It's difficult to judge.
Terry has always been very well protected in his Chelsea teams.
He has been a great captain for them.
Without that great protection, say if he played for Real or Arsenal (and at times for England), you feel he would get exposed a lot more.

Nonsense. Terry far better than Rio. Outstanding defender and captain for club and country. Reading of the game second to none. Would take a bullet if it meant stopping the opposition scoring. Not many mistakes to recall either. Should go down as a legend of the game but you know what fans are like nowadays. If he isn't liked on a personal level then he's no good. Too many Hello Magazine fans nowadays.
Collectively over the years I have Terry as mediocre for England. He's suited to premiership football in a Chelsea defence.

Rooney has said England are frightening the group there in must be the easiest group of all times, I fear when we come up against bigger teams we will be exposed badly.
Rooney's comment on the team being 'frightening' are so typical of the deluded attitude of soon to be embarrassed and humiliated England teams. Be it cricket, football ect, they settle into a rhythm of dispatching poor teams and then don't have any answers when the going gets tough.
Round and round we go!

That's the thing. Due to disappointments in finals none of England's recent players go down as being excellent for country. Look at Gerrard, in the eyes of most rival fans here's been useless for England despite being one of if not the best in every finals he played in.
Well I'm not one of those people and Terry had a good England career also. Not great due to the failing of the teams but personally good.
I'm just talking about individual performances. If we disagree, not anything to worry about.
He's a brilliant organiser, monster in the air, and an all time prem great at club level.
I just watched him outside the prem and in a system with less protection than Chelsea have offered in more open styles, he can get exposed regularly.
My opinion. If you don't agree then fine.
