Hazard - Fair enough. He always seems to start tournaments with a bang but seems to run out of steam when it gets to the latter stages.
Bit unfair on robbo played well and I think he will win the title again at some stage unlike in my opinion ding, better mentality, I don't think any of these guys are too consistent, robbo dominates for a few years then its murphy, Ronnie, etc, bit of a mixed bag, but it does make the tournament more exciting not knowing who will win.
Nice words from Ronnie regards Bingham and he's right about not playing enough minor tournaments leaving him out of touch and getting away with being in second or third gear in the past and not anymore.
Whoooo awesome performance from Hawkins. Both semis will be interesting.

Two cracking semi finals lined up, I got 2 right and 2 wrong in my quarters picks. I'll go for:
Murphy
Trump
Missed all the fun and games yesterday. As is the case with most WCs, the semi-final line up contains a surprise or 2 - I'm not sure many would have predicted Hawkins or Bingham getting there.
The big question for the 2 of them is can they produce again after 2 great QF wins. Hawkins of course has been there before, but a whole new experience for Bingham.
Most would view a Murphy - Trump final as a real cracker, but it doesn't always work out that way..........
I don't buy that............ Ronnie won the title in 2013 after a sesaon off, he has played in all the big tournaments this year......no excuses............ Ronnie was not focused....

Agreed Wetherby but there's no doubt in my mind that the standard by most of the players this year is of a higher level than in 2013, therefore not getting away with lower level performances.
Hawkins has to have the worst nickname - "The Hawk". Couldn't think of anything more imaginative than that?
True about the other players, yet an on song Ronnie still beats them all for me..

What have I missed today?
Murphy in control by the sounds of things
Not seen it, so can't really comment..
Just briefly read the report. Will catch the near conclusion of the match tomorrow night. Looking forward to seeing if Trump can keep up his good form.
Here we go then, imperative to get a good start and stay in touch with your opponent.
I can see an easy win for Trump, Bingham has probably had his moment beating Ronnie and may struggle to repeat the quality of last nights session

Rub of the green so far for the judder man...still you won't win the raffle without buying a ticket
Bingham missing easy balls already, he missed nothing against Ronnie
