Let's hope this hasn't taken it out of him, let's hope for a classic..
Depends, Bingham will either blow out tomorrow and be really nervous and be knackered, or the pump up for the final will get his blood pumping and adrenaline will get him through it
Can't stand Murphys smug face, hope he gets destroyed.

I actually think he played a better safety shot where he swerved around the blue to hit the red yesterday which was just as extraordinary to get object ball safe. He knows his way round a table does Bingham.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if you mean the one where he ended up fluking a snooker himself (behind the black?) it was one of the most extraordinary shots I have ever seen.
Bingham has the heart of a lion, Murphys got the world classness
Not really too bothered who wins the final. Both players are decent, just hoping for a decent final which goes down to the wire.
Thought the standard of the Masters earlier this season was mince. Most games were just borefests with only one player bothering to turn up.
This tournament however, holy crap some of the matches have been amazing. McGill against Maguire & Selby was brilliant, and Robertson/Hawkings Bingham/Trump have been two of the highest standard games I've ever seen.
Would be huge for Murphy, ten years on from his only other World title and the fact that 18 months ago he was contemplating quitting after losing a match, then to win the Masters in January too.
Don, yes off the bottom cushion. Absolute extraordinary. Probably on par with that plant he played today if not better. Has been the stand out player throughout the tournament alongside Trump and Murphy. Hope he wins it.

Got a cant face

he is very smug, says some fairly odd/disparaging things about other players, and is a real bible basher apparently.
Aye don I find him smug as hell, hope his god allows Bingham to win.
Didn't he also pump his ex-girlfriend whilst he was with his wife? He also didn't speak to his dad for years but I don't know if that's still the case.
He's also about the only player Dennis Taylor doesn't refer to as a "terrific lad".
If Taylor says he's a cant who are we to disagree. Come on Bingham.
Was also the incident about a decade ago where he got Maguire docked a frame for forgetting his chalk & going back to the dressing room.
Murphy is one of the most down to earth players in the game.
I wasn't aware of that background of Murphy, is that all legit?
He's always gracious in defeat, not arrogant, has a good character etc.

the relevant bit is:
While Murphy is happy to have rediscovered what set him apart on a snooker table, he is also glad to have parted company with the "gobby" know-it-all who made enemies among his fellow pros and left many fans of the game cold.
As a younger man, Murphy had an opinion on pretty much everything. You only had to ask. He railed against opponents taking toilet breaks and sneered when they complained about playing conditions and prize money. And even before his Crucible triumph, Murphy had earned a reputation as something of a sneak.
In a 2004 Grand Prix encounter against Stephen Maguire, the Scot was docked the opening frame after leaving the arena to retrieve his chalk. Maguire said it was Murphy who asked the referee for the punishment to be applied. Although Murphy denied this at the time, Maguire has never forgotten it.
Five-time Crucible champion Ronnie O'Sullivan also came in for some tongue-lashings, which meant it was easy to paint Murphy as a priggish old woman, in stark contrast to the freewheeling O'Sullivan, the maverick non-conformist.
