I wasn't around that long ago would be nice to see something similar in my lifetime
Neither was I but I watched highlights of that frame and it was a cracker. Can only imagine what it would have been like watching it live. I wasn't even alive in the 80's mind

You'd be surprised at the rate things can progress. I think it will soon become routine to check these things at the genetic level.

Nor was I. Seen the final black (who hasn't) just hope that type of audience returns in the near future, and more regularly too.
Humans can never figure it all out Hobo - if we could figure out everything from tests no one would die, no one would have diseases like cancer or suffer in the way that poor guys family probably is right now. I may not be extremely religious but its very hard to argue with the concept of intelligent design.
Bingham has missed quite a lot of pots today, and been quite lucky with more than a few rattling in off the jaws.
Thought Murphy had snookered himself there for a minute
Wonder where Cal is? Not like him to do a no show two days on the trot...
Kav - We're on our way though. Worldwide life expectancy has doubled since 1900. The rate of advancement as astonishing. I did inorganic chemistry at Uni, but whilst I was there we synthesised graphene using a few hundred pounds worth of standard lab equipment. Just a few years beforehand it cost millions.
Easy to argue with intelligent design, as we've clearly not been designed with any intelligence. We can bite the inside of our own mouths, the light receptors in our eyes are backwards and for millennia the most dangerous thing a woman could do was give birth. If we were designed, it was by a freaking moron.
Bit of luck snookering behind the yellow like that, easy escape in the end
excellent final so far, great way to finish it too
That's it, Murphy leads 9-8 overnight. Couldn't be closer.
9-8. Great day ahead tomorrow!
It's been a cracker so far
Bingham should try playing like that when the scores are equal rather than waiting 'til he's behind.

Great recovery though having lost the first four frames of the evening
Brilliant stuff again from Bingham - as I've said previously a really genuine and likeable guy. To only be 9-8 behind with the form Murphy has threatened to show and to have kept the belief like he has done is brilliant. Really hope he wins it.
Hobo fair points but I do genuinely think there is some form of creator, deity or God up there: whatever you want to call him and when our time is up it is up in my view. No amount of testing or screening can sometimes prevent a cardiac arrest from happening even on the fittest of athletes as poor Fabrice Muamba found out. As for intelligent design, I take a child as the perfect example. For me the innocence and pure nature of a child has me convinced that there is definitely a force behind our creation as in my opinion the purity of them all is a sight to behold. It's only when they grow up do the problems occur when their heads are full of information which rids them of that perfect intelligent design. Just my view of course.
Well, you certainly don't have any kids.
As I said children not kids
Although your right, hopefully one day
Lmao kavs been on the whacky stuff tonight
For fack sake Juan that was a very serious and intelligent point
