He just looks so clumsy
Pat Nevin has a theory that at Chelsea all our fringe players try so hard to impress when they come on with the little minutes they are given they all try to score worldies instead of doing the basics
Who did we sell to get cuadrado?
We could have held on til the summer or just bought a cheapy stop gap replacement instead of cuadrado

Think there could be something to that. Plus it's difficult to find any form when you hardly play, even if you are doing the basics.
Pat Nevin also said Torres was still good though
Perhaps Pat , was misunderstood !
Anyone see that Gerrard v. Carragher match? Torres was falling over and losing the ball constantly and no one was really even defending
I wouldn't get sterling. I just see him being the same tricky inconsistency hot and cold winger, all his career. He'll fall off once he gets his big contract. Only Rooney in the last 10 years you can say is a top English player. After him there's no one. Wilshere Walcott Ox all overhyped initially and haven't really kicked on. Sterling will go the same way.
Yeah I just don't see Sterling becoming a top class / world beater type player. Seems a dime a dozen winger, like everyone else Jose has shipped in/out.
Cissy falls off every December you say nuffink
I think it depends where he goes, Mr C.
I think Sterling does have the potential to be a brilliant player and he's already very good.
Would love him at United, but that's unlikely, unless he runs down his contract and comes on a free - which would be one of the greatest things ever.
By all accounts t fry Sterling needs dimes for a Dozen

Well played
By all accounts you should be signing Ibe because he's the better prospect of the two.
No. Brendan is Liverpools best signing
sterling would never run his contract down to the end.
that would be over £10 mil in 'lost' wages and gambling he doesn't regress or get injured.
He'll be sigining a new contract this summer guaranteed
with which club is the only question
I think he'll stay at Liverpool. Plenty TV money now for Liverpool to pay him big money
Sterling Bonfire Night awaits
Yeah agree, was just saying it's the only way he'd come to us because you wouldn't sell to us. But I don't see that happening either.
I think we'll sign Depay in the summer anyway so we'll have our very own speedy bumkid. He looks like he can shoot, though.
I reckon he will be pleased to just get away from those bloody kids !
Mr C, I get the impression he's more concerned with the immediate future at Liverpool which is why he's stalling over a contract.
If Liverpool don't get into the CL, which is looking increasingly likely, he may try and push for a transfer to a team that can match his ambitions.

Wherever he goes the CSA will find him.
Darren I don't know about that tbh. It's not as if he's tasted playing in the the Champions league that much. It's not as if he's at that level of mixing it up with the best in the Champions league. He's only just broke into the Liverpool team last year. I just don't see why he would have such a hard on for the Champions league so soon.
