You're thinking of City.

Why do people think Everton is a hard game? They have been bordering on the relegation places for most of the year, and Goodison is hardly a fortress right now. I'd say Palace is a harder game.
--------------------------
Atmosphere does not win you football games. Palace will dominate the game and create bucket load of chances but still lose.

Among the top teams Everton have only lost to chelsea at home this season and that was when they were really bad. Last season it was to City only while beating every other top team that came to Goodison.

If you think Selhurst is a bigger fortress than Goodison then you are a deluded schmućk.

Try keeping our Lukaku, Miralles and Barkley for 90 minutes. I actually think you will lose that game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not to mention that Utd have lost on their last two trips to Goodison as well.

Palace will dominate the game against United? What the hell are you smoking? Everton have been completely pants all year, so has Barkley and so has Lukaku. Do you think throwing in some footballer names who were good last season will make me change my opinion?

Everton haven't lost at home all year, in all competitions.
Lukaku has found some form as well.

That has absolutely no bearing on this season

1 win in their last 6 trips to Goodison, losing 3 of them, in fact.

But it does have a bearing on what A-Rab said. To which these were responses.

Looking at their recent results in 2015 in the league, they've won 3 games only. I still think Palace will be harder to beat because of their form under Pardew.

posted on 2/4/15

Lukaku has scored only 8 goals in 30 apps in the league too, he's been pants compared to last season.

Arsenal appear to be the only side we have a hope of catching. Man U have found some form and are going to win more
---------------------------------------------------------------
WTF! I do believe now that due to LFC's recent loss, Arsenal have the best form this year, esp in the league, we beat Man U at Old trafford, but you have more chance of catching us!
Man u won 2 games against 2 decent sides and they are on form.

Not understanding your reasoning for not including Tottenham or Southampton as 'Mathematical' they have more chance of overtaking you than you do catching the top 4!

-----------------------------------
Palace are a good team but they don't have the know how to beat the top teams. Everton do. Mentioning the likes of Lukaku was not meant to change your opinion, I don't really care what your opinion is. I simply wanted to explain why Everton is a much harder game than palace which I think I have.

If you actually lol deeper into Evertons results you will realise they have hardly been pants at all. Simply inconsistent and too many draws esp at home. They beat Wolfsburg home and away for fecks sakes. They are still a top team irrespective of where they lie in the table.

Lukaku has been far better than Falcao or RVP and the point of listing them players was to show you that facing them is a lot harder than facing Gayle and Chamakh.

I wouldn't be surprised if you lose that game.

posted on 2/4/15

Is that the same Lukaku who has two goals less than RVP in the league? You deserve a medal for so much waffling on.

It's ok arab you can calm down son.Go work on your assignments. I'm done here

posted on 2/4/15

Done with what? You said Lukaku has done better than RVP, when he's scored two less goals in the league. It just shows you can't even research properly and act like you know everything about football when you really don't.

But everyone on this site and on your board know you just waffle on so much and they laugh at you. Fool.

Why are you so would up Arab?

Here we go, you get schooled and resort to asking the old 'why are you wound up' question. Be a man and accept you're wrong, as always.

I get schooled I was actually going to ignore you but had to laugh at that. If you read up you will realise that everybody agreed with my reasoning that Everton will be a tough game for United.

The league stat about RVP doesn't bother me because I did not need to check the goal scoring charts to know who has been the better player. I'm sure if you go check chance creation, assists e.t.c Lukaku beats everyone at your club.

He is actually a good player criminally underrated by plastics like you who only watch United and MOD highlights

posted on 2/4/15

Lukaku beats every striker at your club except maybe Rooney*

Palace are actually in decent form but they seem win or lose games. If you look at Everton at home they just draw too many games.

Personal opinion but if Utd are going to lose then you would probably say, on form, that it would be Palace. However, drop points? Everton away is harder to take 3 points from.

This is a pointless exercise as most of the draws I will predict in the big games can easily be wins for either team. Either way I will give it a go.

LIVERPOOL:
Arsenal (A) Lose
Newcastle U (H) Win
Hull (A) Win
WBA (A) Lose
QPR (H) Win
Chelsea (A) Win
Crystal Palace (H) Win
Stoke (A) Draw

MAN U:
Villa (H), Win
Man City (H), Draw
Chelsea (A), Lose
Everton (A), Draw
WBA (H), Win
Crystal Palace (A), Win
Arsenal (H), Draw
Hull (A), Draw

ARSENAL:
Liverpool (H), Win
Burnley (A), Draw
Chelsea (H),Draw
Hull (A), Win
Swansea (H), Win
Man U (A), Draw
Sunderland (H), Win
WBA (H), Win

I can't see chelsea avoid defeat against United, arsenal & Liverpool. Same way I can't see United go unbeaten against City, Chelsea, Arsenal & Everton.

In a funny sort of way I actually think liverpool could beat chelsea at the bridge even though Arsenal playing at home should be better equipped to do so.

Same thing with United, I expect them to avoid defeat to all the other teams but suffer a shock defeat at Goodison.

Complacency plays a huge role in these kind of fixtures.
