can't see arsenal going unbeaten for the rest of the season personally
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I can't either. Games against the likes of Hull, Burnley and Sunderland are dangerous at this time of year, they'll be scrapping to avoid relegation.

Arsenal will win the majority I'd have thought but these teams will fight to get even a point and it's unlikely all will fail to do so.

Good point Mark, but because so many of our fixtures are at home it is hard to see where we will lose.

United is a good shout but I personally don't think you are good enough to beat us even at old Trafford. Some will point to our poor form there but I still can't help but think your defence will allow us at least 2 goals again.

Think it is possible, but Liverpool need to beat Chelsea and Arsenal to do it.

Not understanding your reasoning for not including Tottenham or Southampton as 'Mathematical' they have more chance of overtaking you than you do catching the top 4!

I have now included their fixtures - why don't you try to predict how they'll go.

The way Hull and Burnley play makes it hard for us to lose to them. We struggle against teams that mix up long ball footie and play at breath neck pace.

At the end of the day it will come down to our ability to score goals. If we continue to score early goals in all our games as we have done for 17 of our last 20 games we will go unbeaten.

United realistically should beat us but I'm not convinced.

According to b10, the table won't really change, we'll have reduced the gap on Man U but remain in 5th.

It's possible but unlikely.

We need to avoid defeat on Saturday so we don't fall further behind, then win the next 4 so we are still in contention going into the last 3 games when anything could happen.

It's not over but the fat lady is clearing her throat.

We need to avoid defeat on Saturday

This is key but in the last two seasons we don't seem to play to avoid defeat.

Burnley are suddenly going to turn into world beaters

posted on 2/4/15

A bit like the Chelsea game last year and the recent Man U game we shouldn't build the Arsenal game up as a must win game.

Of course not.

The chances are Arsenal will beat them. However, a motivated and determined team make for a more difficult game and teams fighting relegation often have their backs against the wall and come out fighting. If you'll excuse the well worn cliche.

Relegation threatened teams have shown throughout the years that they can get the unexpected. They don't have to be world beaters, just fight for a point.

Would I bet on them Burnley beating Arsenal? Hell no. Would I be surprised if they scrapped a draw? Not in the slightest.

Burnley give anyone a game, especially at home.

They took the lead against Chelsea, beat City, lost 1-0 and dominated the first half against us, drew with Utd, beat Southampton, and also drew with Spurs in the cup at home.

Far from a gimme for anyone.

To be honest, we all know this is total conjecture.

There will be at least one mental, totally unpredictable result in these last few matchdays. Quite possibly at least one for each team. Predicting anything at this stage of the season is basically impossible.

Tru Dat.

I think whatever the table looks like 3 fixtures from now is how it will end up

Nah some teams will definitely get more points after that.

can't see Liverpool seeing out the season unbeaten at all with key players either out injured of suspend for possible 3 games
