Will see how he develops.
I think once debuchy comes back, bellerin will be benched.
The kid has serious potential though
as part of the longer interview (in Spanish) he said how happy he was here.
So hardly much to worry about is it?
I'd back him to keep his place, when debuchy was playing he looked very average defensively.
Thats what you always get with foreign players I am afraid. They are already so used to moving countries that they don't lay down roots anywhere. So they are ready to move as soon as someone offers to improve their wages even a little bit.

You say this as if you think Bellerin is amazing defensively.
he isn't but defensively there isn't too much between the two imo. Debuchy is probably less liable to make mistake like bellerin did for the penalty. But too often Debuchy was easily bypassed by wingers and crosses came into the box.

More xenophobic bóllocks from J99.
All he has to do is look at how they treated Fabregas when he went back, that will put him off.
Not many players stay at one club their whole careers, overall signing them for cheap and getting years of service is a positive thing. Most young players we get stay about 7 or 8 years.
Defensively Chambers is better than Bellerin. At OT Bellerin was a disaster waiting to happen. On Sat he gave away a pen. But his goal and his general attacking play overshadow his defensive frailties. It won't be a disaster if he eventually goes, but the media is good at distorting stories.
Whereas defensivey Chambers is a disaster that has happened a lot.
Fabregas loves London. So j99 is wrong there. I'm sure Bellerin will look at past Arsenal players that have gone. Anyway we could be in good luck because Bellerin is still quite some way off to be playing for Barca every week. He's still way off for Arsenal defensively. Debuchy will come back and reclaim his place whilst Bellerin develops more next season. He's like 20 ATM, and Barca would want someone in mid 20's
I hope and suspect it is probably another Fabregas, where he's happy to stay at Arsenal for many years but would like to go back to Barca at some point in his mid-late 20s (when we can get a nice transfer fee for him). How soon he goes back probably depends on how well the club does in the coming years.

Cesc moved to Barca on a drop of a hat. When Barca kicked him out he had little choice but to join Chelsea not that he was over joyed to leave his family and friends to come back to London. Its common sense and bloody obvious.
Everyone wants to play for Barca one day. You don't even have to have been born there. Look at Henry and Song. Even fecking Hleb.
If we had won the CL, Henry would've stayed.
Not sure about the others.
Henry was running away from a messy divorce. He would have gone whatever.

Still ripping it up in the Turkish league according to Wikipedia.
He could have had a longer spell in top-flight, had he stayed on at Arsenal.
"....Hleb claims the biggest regret of his life was leaving Arsenal for Barcelona in an interview.......". (Wikipedia)
Why didn't the OP post the rest of the quotes but chose only those that satisfy a particular agenda?
