Its in the Daily Star so it must be true!!
All 3 very good players, will they be at City next season, doubt it.
Now , if it was the Daily Mirror !
Hate to think how the Sun would report it seeing as they are held with such reverence in Liverpool.
To be fair, I don't think Coutinho will ever find the consistency required to become a really top player (though he will always have his moments), and it looks as though Sterling is going to leave regardless.
Hendo would be a miss though, he's been a rock for you guys, good leader for his age and whilst he may not be a fancy name I think he will sign up and stay for as long as his services are required.
Next captain of Liverpool or rotating in Cities team? Easy choice.

Filthy oil money, steals Star clubs shining lights.
We should sell the whole first team.
Coutinho - £40m
Sterling - £50m
Henderson - £50m
Lambert - £15m
Lallana - £35m
Mignolet - £28m
Sakho - £40m
Lovren - £30m
We could then buy Danny Ings, James Milner and David Silva.
We would win the league then

WTF are you mentioning that rag on here for
Not mentioned with any fondness or to wind you up I assure you, hate the skum!!
It really is terrible, predictable journalism. Coutinho scores good goal, gets linked the next day. I think it was Southampton that beat United, next day one of their players was Old Trafford bound.
They should be publicly flogged every time they print this nonsense.

You forgot to mention selling Toure back to City for £15m.
Looks like we will be the Southampton of 2015 summer transfer window.
We were needing 3 or 4 new players anyway. If these 3 go to City then we need 6 or 7 new players who could take yet another season to gel/perform.
Unless City do a cash + player swap deals. Who out of City (apart from Milner) would we like given that they've already been there in terms of domestic silverware.

So everyone will then predict that you get relegated, but you'll end up in a comfortable 7th place?

out of interest why on earth do city appear happy to let milner walk away on a free?
All 3 will be at Liverpool next season, the following Summer however that's a different story.
Milner will come to Anfield though IMO and he'd be a good signing.
Hope Milner doesn't turn out to be another Joe Cole.

To be fair, having made my lame joke, I would say that whilst no one will ever label Milner world class, I doubt there is a team in the PL that wouldn't want him in their squad (except for City apaparently).
Have iq' dropped?
City have offered him a contract he hasn't signed it.
How does that equate to city not wanting him or being happy for him to leave?
How?

I suspect the use of the word squad is key here.
I'm pretty sure City would want to keep him as a squad player, they offered him a contract after all.
However, Milner is 29 now and he's been playing in the EPL for circa 12 years. In that time he's only really been considered a first team at Villa (on-off at Newcastle).
If he's going looking for games, whether that's at Liverpool or elsewhere, than good on him.
