Worst I've seen us over 90 minutes this season!
Albentosa, Bryson, Warnock and Russell particularly poor but a special mention for the exceptionally shocking Forsyth!

Got to agree. Totally useless from some players. Forsyth must have thought we were playing in yellow, Martin (I know he was out of position)just stood and watched the game and the others just looked totally nonchalant. Brentford were definitely robbed of 2 points today and I dread to think of how humiliating it will be if we get to the play-offs.

There was already a thread talking about Whitbread but as Milf seems to want to make this about himself guess I'll flatter his ego.

Think Dawkins deserved a 1 donut he didn't give the ball way much just didn't get it enough. Did Grant move his hand a little for the goal too, or was that just me blinking?

I reckon with the current team we have we could take Ipswich, Wolves and maybe if Hughes was in the squad we might take Brentford, not sure how we're going to beat Borough/Watford/Norwich. Borough do seem to be dipping a bit and I wonder with Krankie's disciplinarian style if they could implode if they don't make automatics.

Do we try and make this 4-4-1-1 work, do we try out the diamond only with Martin leading the line or do we go back to Mmmmbop and a 4-2-3-1.

If we stick with 4-4-1-1 I'm gonna put my neck out in defence:

.Forsyth.....Albentosa....Whitbread...Warnock

Warnock for his mouth, dropping Keogh is a huge call but Fozzy would push their full backs back, might be able to do something in the inside channel, is as good in the air as Keogh just doesn't have the mouth all our right back options apart from Hendrick can't cross the ball so we don't miss anything out there. Just a thought.

Meant Mmmbop and a 4-3-3 give him four games to get the hang of it, with 4-2-4 being our chasing a game default not a starting the game default.

Worst I've seen us play for ages. I really thought they would do it today, but wrong again.

The team is not being run properly. Why is the centre half at right back, the left back at centre half and the centre forward we have missed so much at left wing???

Not to mention the wingers in the second half playing in the middle. Folk say Whitbread played well, but who couldn't improve the hapless Forsyth today?

I felt embarrassed on the way home that we got a point.

Brentford played quite well considering they have only just been promoted and haven't spent much. Their manager has done well, our's hasn't.

Hendrick at least looked interested.

The rest spot on Marco.

Could Zak be a player for the rest off the season?

posted on 11/4/15

The players don't look interested or bothered tbh. Its as if they know the manager is leaving regardless at the end of the season. I think we will lose a few players in the summer if any offers from prem clubs come in.

I think we could learn a lot from Brentford today.

2 things I think will get us out of this league playing like Brentford play when they don't have the ball and passing irregardless of what formation we play.

I do think the players are putting everything into it which makes it even harder to watch sometimes, also agree we lost a little of the underdog spirit and have struggled to replace that, the team spirit does seem to still be there, it just feels like we're relying on individual brilliance to get us something as opposed to playing like a collective.

Still look at who got promoted last year from the playoffs arguably the out of form team.

Milf: good thread

I'm personally sure the players are 100% interested - not least because of the life-changing ££££ bonus they must be in for promotion (somehow? )

May I add I have been saying all season Forsyth is exceptionally poor, totally out of his depth.

Bryson is also a shadow of his former self

posted on 11/4/15

Don't think Bryson is fully fit and not sure he has been all season, Forsyth is such a confidence player the difference in performance though can be staggering when he's off his game.

One thing I noticed about Albentosa is when he does make a mistake he more than often recovers quite quickly, maybe his long legs help.

It's a whole heap of fun though this promotion trot that we're on, wonder what would happen if we galloped.

Brum and Blackpool

Only not too loudly for Blackpool settle for a 3-2 win and several sending offs.

And yet, with wolves losing and ipswich only drawing, this might turn out to be a good result.

Have no doubts, my fellow Rams. We will spawn our way to the Premiership. It matters not how rubbish we are over the next 4/7 games, it is written in the stars ✨

The players have big contracts anyway and some will get moves to clubs with big signing on fees and bigger wages. Yes of course they want it but as things go from bad to worse they look like they have given up. It's like your (not you personally) missus who promised you so much in the beginning so you committed to the long term relationship. Then she has gone and cheated on you, you are gutted but forgive her and see how things go for a while. Then you realise things aren't going well, you know you won't get a sh@g off her again and so your just waiting for it to end.

Thought Hendrick played OK today. Also thought Dawkins was much better than Russell. Those of you seeing a good performance from Whitbread must have been drinking a lot of trophy. Didn't think he was any better or worse than Albentosa. Maybe it was wishful thinking. A lucky draw. Their goal was top draw, can't see that anyone could be blamed for a quality piece of play.

We were so poor today. I will point to being without Hughes,Thorne,Eustace & Mascarell as the main reason. We had no controlling midfield player at all. I classed Hendrick as our best player today but hes not in the mould of a ball retention player. Our play lacked build up and patience. Our defensive play lacked protection. Forsyth passed the ball more to Brentford than Derby. Peabo's time is up. Doing nothing. In hindsight...Hanson should of played.

I don't think there will be many but it could be key players. Hughes obviously, Hendrick and Martin would also get interest particularly from mid to lower teams also possibly Russell. If Hughes and Hendrick go we have no midfield. If Martin goes we have no striker. Russell is the best of the rest IMO.

Whooooaaaaa...slow down people. I think today you saw the importance of players like Hughes,Thorne and Eustace. To our side they are massive. Back to Basics McClaren. Go back to what did well for us...
