I would like to know why Forest play home games on Wednesday while most of the teams play on a Tuesday? Does it have anything to do with security?

Home games always used to be on a Wednesday back in the 90's and before.

Don't know why they've switched back. Maybe to avoid any clashes with County ?

Derby always used to play on Wednesdays - I don't know why and if memory serves me right, they only went back to Tuesdays when Nige was in charge. BUT I will stand corrected

We had a couple early on in the season that were swapped to avoid Notts games but for some unknown reason we seem to have stuck with that since. The fixture generating application for some reason has picked us and Notts to be at home on the same day over the last couple of years. Fix the bloody thing!

By all reports DF has signed a new two year deal but it's not been confirmed from Fawaz's side
