Chelsea are getting too easy a ride

Wenger isn't getting into it because he knows as soon as he says anything he will be crucified as soon as we drop a point.

He is happy for us to keep under the radar, and hopefully we can get 2nd and the FA cup.

Can't understand why your two clubs aren't doing more to try and make Chelsea feel your breath on the back of their necks
--------------------------------
One club knows it's nothing more than a top four club - They class it as a trophy. Title contenders is something they really aren't capable of pushing for.

The other club is trying establish itself back in the top four as it's primary objective.

Neither of them have any genuine desire for the title this season, as much as we'd like them too.

Only Manchester City were capable of being their challengers this year and with them out the picture, everyone has accepted it for what it is.

They were good at the start of the year when everyone else was gash. They're gash now, but they've built up enough of a lead not to worry about it. Not much you can do about it it, except be less shít for the first half of the season.

Thats actually a good point.

Maybe they would have lost a few points from mind games a lone.

Either way if the other teams including united didn't lose ridiculous points to Burnley and Swansea Chelsea wouldn't be so far ahead.

If United had won away to Leicester, I'd be confident of catching Chelsea they we are playing.

Next season will be one of the most competitive I feel.

City won't stand for what has happened this season and LVG has laid down the foundations for a successful campaign. Both teams have money.

even if that happens those two teams still have remain perfect for the rest of the season themselves and arsenal still have to play utd so a Draw there would hand the title to Chelsea anyway, still Jose knows two draws against arsenal and utd and its all over anyway

True, but with the run both of them are on at the moment, one of them achieving it (at the other's expense) is hardly a remote possibility, and certainly shouldn't seem like it to them.

You're a Chelsea fan, you know how jaded the side have been looking of late. I think you've been one of the more bullish fans, but haven't their been a fair few in your camp who've been a touch sheepish about the run-in of late?

And that's been without someone tightening the screws from the outside.

Imagine yourselves in the opposite situation: do you really think Mr Littlehorse would have had nothing to say?

A loss at QPR today would've complicated Chelsea's league title ! luckily we won today, Jose knows that a draws against Utd and Arsenal would be enough to win the title.

But, you never know in football, anything can happen.

I actually think this chelsea side would thrive under pressure from the media/rivals and create a siege mentality. They're more likely to slip up if they get too arrogant and assume the league is won - IMO.

Arsenal are more a side who'd cripple under mind games because our style of play requires a lot more self belief - similar to Liverpool last season.

Chelsea are all about tactics and discipline under Mourinho.

This piece of bullshiit again. Wenger never actually said that he saw 4th as a trophy, he said it was the best we could achieve considering how much CIty, Chelsea and United were and still are spending. Arsenal can spend now, so steadily expectations will change. United and City should be above us though, with all the money they've spent, including their wage bills.

All this mind games stuff is such boIlocks.

I think right now a true league table would have United and arsenal at the top. We both had injuries at the start of the season whereas Chelsea had a miraculous lack of injuries to help put them so far ahead.

They're not the best team in this league. To be honest arsenal probably are when you look at all of the teams injury free with United a close second.

Well the media have done the hyping up to let Arsenal be title challengers, but Chelsea did so well in first half of season and are grinding out results now that realistically it's not possible.

Bóllocks it's bóllocks.

Back in the 90s, Barça came from behind 3 years in a row to snatch the league title on the final day - twice off Madrid and once off Deportivo. Each one of those years, Barça refused to give up and kept reminding sides that they'd be there to pounce on any opportunity.

Besides, bollox or not, what is there to lose?

Chelsea keep fluking wins, Man utd and Arsenal done everything they could by winning. Remember when we won at Anfield 06-07 season with 10 men, it was like name on the trophy after Ronaldo izzed it in and John O shea scored late.

Chelsea fluking wins? For a lot of games I'd say United were fluking wins but that was okay because it's United?

United we win

Chelsea really aren't the best side in the league. They were just lucky their opposition was so poor for the first half of the season. Arsenal and United have been far better than them for a while. Especially arsenal.

Chelsea will win the league but they really need to step it up for next season as they won't have such an easy first half of the season again.

Right now they are the third best team in the league. They're without Costa and it's facked them. Both United and arsenal could lose their best striker and still play well and win games. Chelsea have needed 3 goalkeeping errors to win their last 3 games.

Chelsea are in the position they deserve, but they've looked jaded for some time. It's a very long shot, but if I were in United's or Arsenal's position I'd be doing everything I possibly could to try to get them feeling the pressure.

Chelsea have been worthy title champions, do people forget how good they were when the season started? They're slowly getting over the finish line, like United did in 12/13.

I think had Chelsea not fluked that win today the title race would still be on but it's agonisingly far away now.

We'll probably beat Chelsea next week and I'm sure arsenal will beat them the week after but it's too late sadly.
