Everyone knows Di Maria has been crap but his stats have still been ok. It's good signs for if he starts playing well next season.
Yeh you do Robb, bias towards Liverpool.
Not only that Robb but that wasn't the debate either.

Vidic evra Ferdinand cleverly Nani Anderson.....

Getting rid of that little lot was a good thing for Utd and you know it....and Anderson and Cleverley?
Mata, ADM, Falcao ect ect all huge transfer fees and huge wages.
Utd are on a different level to Liverpool in what they can spend but are still winning nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You said we kept the squad together....we didn't
Winning nothing? When was the last time you won anything of note ? 2005?
And you keep talking about spending like you are a Everton Fan
You spent how much on LALlana?
In the PL era your spend isn't much different to ours
Your trophy haul however.....
Juan doesn't even know what Subjective means
Lol yeh I got it wrong just saw.

I don't let bias get in the way of debate.

Looks like Cout and Lallana have done well enough to get is within a couple of wins for some silverware, what happened to Utd there ? Oh well better luck next season maybe....
And all after losing the best player in the league from last season
Wow Aggers
Just ignoring all my questions there
And "next season"

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd go for this..
---------------------Carrick----------------------
-------------Herrera------Coutinho------------
----------Mata------Rooney------Young-----
Pretty sure that would be devastating. I watch a lot of Liverpool matches as part of the bets I do and Coutinho always looks the most dangerous player and would give us the pace we lack behind Rooney and no shortage of skill.
Di Maria has pace of course, but he just doesn't look as composed as Coutinho does and being younger, Coutinho would give us many more years with the potential to get even better.
I like Coutinho, the way he curls the ball into the top corner is amazing, but he doesn't deserve to be on the PFA list,he's been too hit and miss this season (he was same last season) Can a player win both PFA and the Young PFA award? Hazard has been by far the best player this season.
A lot of whining on here.
Will be put to bed by Di Maria having voted for Coutinho as well.

United sold Ronaldo
Next season finished second in the league and made the QF of the Champions League
Liverpool sold Suarez who is probably top ten in the world but hardly in the top 3 and are set to finish 5/6th out in the group stages
Yeah you guys are doing really well
But I need to stop mocking mid table teams really
Best of luck against Villa
Wow Robb would drop his beloved Fellaini. God damn.
Hmmm is say Suarez is number three in the world.
Not sure why some scousers keep stressing that it's his fellow players that voted him as if that lends extra credence to the farce. The media massively influences our perceptions - including players. Rooney won the PFA in '09/10 because the media spent all season perpetuating some non-existent duel with Messi in our consciousness despite Drogba outperforming him in every measurable way - more goals, more important goals, better quality goals, vastly more assists, leading his side to the title etc. It was a win by a landslide too. A total farce. Bale won the PFA in '10/11 because of his exploits against Inter in the CL. Nevermind he was a total non-entity from Christmas to the end of the season. Don't even get me started on Giggs' win. There are no words to describe that farce.
Coutinho made that list because the Scouse media has spent the last 3 months with their heads neck-deep in his ar.se. I guess if you perpetuate the lie enough, everyone else starts believing it.
"Di Maria has pace of course, but he just doesn't look as composed as Coutinho does"
And yet the uncomposed player has more chances created and double the assists in significantly less time on the pitch? Interesting. You've always had an exaggerated grass-is-greener-elsewhere outlook.
Sheriff hasn't gotten laid yet, poor him..
Anyway fellow players voting for him does lend extra credence. Why?
Because they see him up close, and play against him.
I think this carries more weight than some perceived media prompting.

Sheriff, maybe you don't watch ADM every week but I do.
True, some of his assists are top class like the one against you lot a couple of weeks back. But stats really don't tell the whole story.
A couple of ADM's 'assists' came from woeful shots at goal that ended up at someones foot who scored. Just 2 weeks ago against Villa he got an assist. What did he do? He crossed the ball behind Rooney (a bad cross) and it was more down to Rooney's excellent talent that he turned a bad cross into a goal. Watch it again.
Stats really don't tell the story. I've seen every Di Maria match this season and he has been the most frustrating player since Nani.
