One of Ozil, Ramsey or Cazorla have to go

Well if you asked me back in January, I would not have hesitated in saying Ozil stays on the bench, but his form has been too good at the moment and he is proving to be one of the main men at the moment. If you asked me at the start of the season, I would have said Cazorla, simply because to me he looked finished as a top player; but as it turned out

And now you expect to be right about Ramsey?

Welbeck/Wallcot in for Ramsey or else it will be another suicidal tactics against Chelsea.

Why do you assume I want Ramsey dropped and not Ozil or Cazorla?

Is it because subconsciously, you think yourself Ramsey should be dropped and are pretending the be a model fan by acting as if everything is perfect at the moment?

It's all about Balance which is why Felliani starts games for Manchester United.

I've been also thinking about this a lot & although all 3 can look decent in a home game against weak opposition we are still not balanced enough.

As strange as this may sound but when all players are fit & in form the most balanced midfield 3 is Coq, Wilshere & Ozil.

Sounds harsh on Santi who has been marvelous but I think Wilshere is better suited for the deep lying midfield position Wenger wants this team to have. He also carries the ball from back to front making us less predictable.

Santi does this well on his day but it just doesn't seem like his natural game. He is better in the playmaker re but unfortunately Ozil is the better play maker.

With a specialist defensive midfielder in Coq Ramsey's influence in this team has declined especially with his indecisiveness & General lack of goals this season. He is still our best goal scoring midfielder but I just feel Wilshere offers more.

Why would you assume I'm an Arsenal fan?

Perhaps you just talk nonsense?

Nah, Cazorla is pretty much better than Jack at everything and does not lose the ball in dangerous areas like Jack does so for me that is a no brainer. He has adapted well to a deeper role although I agree he is better in a more advanced position.

GORILLA GONADS,

Because you always post on the Arsenal board? Or are you a Mafia lite who supports a small club and clings on to us?

Tbh, if Chelsea play like they did yesterday, Ramsey and Cazorla could probably play together in CM and it wouldn't really make a difference. Yeah, Coqs interceptions are vital, but we probably won't score anyway. I'd take the risk.

Obviously this is a short term solution though. Given the ages of all 3, I can see Cazorla being the one to drop out first, sadly.

Then there's Wilshere aswell. Wenger will surely try to fit him in somehow.

Barcelona aren't a small club

You make a lot of assumptions

Oh right. You support Barca. Ok then

I see you've gone for the poster - sure sign of an indefensible argument

Why not move Özil out wide and Ramsey Central...best of the worst situation. Idea would be if Ox was fit he'd be playing out wide instead. Having too many CMs is an issue that I am glad we have rather than having just enough available to play matches.

Maybe Wenger could look at rotating, playing Cazorla further up to rest Özil drop Ramsey/Wilshere back in midfield etc but we've not got any midweek games so doubt that'll happen.

We should let Rosicky go and give Cazorla his role of experienced back up from next season. Obviously play him more than we play Rosicky and although he's had a good season can't help but feel his new role will hold back Ramsey and even Wilshere

Good point about Jack losing the ball in dangerous places. Maybe it's just blind faith in Jacks abilities but to be fair in the last few weeks Santi has lost posession or made blind passes probably due to fatigue.

It's a pity he doesn't have the play making qualities of Ozil as he would be the perfect player in that position and has more tenacity than the german.

If only you could be allowed to clone at least one squad member. Imagine combining the best qualities of Santi & Ozil.

That your post suggested you keep getting it wrong.

Or did it not?

posted on 19/4/15

Eh, I think my post would suggest that I was actually right. As Cazorla's early season form was due to being forced out wide, Ozil's poor form for much of his Arsenal career was due to being forced out wide, and Ramsey's current poor form is due to him being forced out wide.

So if you follow the pattern, Cazorla moves central and plays well, Ozil moves central and plays well, Ramsey should surely play better if played central, no?

Do you understand now or should I translate that in Catalan for you?

I would still keep Rosicky & Arteta but Flamini is gone and hopefully Diaby.

Personally I don't understand why Wenger insists on playing Ozil for 90 minutes when Mourinho wouldnt. Whatever we do I hope we buy another defensive midfielder, not that bothered about another striker.

In an ideal world Ramsey & Wilshere will compete for one position while Ozil & Santi compete for the play maker spot. Coq & new defensive midfielder compete for the other berth.

You suggested that, if we asked you, the first two should be benched

Now you're saying the other should be benched

Simple observation. You're quite touchy though, no?

posted on 19/4/15

well we need a big squad to win things so we'll have to rotate.

posted on 19/4/15

Eh, I didn't say Ramsey should be benched. I said Ramsey should not be played out wide. Seriously man, google translate.

Do I need to google translate?

posted on 19/4/15

Yes one of those 3 should be benched. Once again you have assumed I said Ramsey should be the one benched, despite me never saying this. Please stop embarrassing yourself.

"Now it seems like Ramsey is the one who should drop out "

Do you understand what you write?

Did you purposely leave out the rest of the sentence hoping that nobody would pick up on it? What a fool
