Not the time for knee jerk reaction.

I think most managers will be judged on their signings.

Other than Coutinho and Sturridge, Brendan hasn't faired too well.

This summer will surely be make or break with his signings.

Uphill struggle for 4th?

Hahahahahaaaa

YTS programmes only used to last for 2 years, not 4.

Plus you had to complete that back in the day before you got a placement in a job.

Losing to Villa who are managed by an ex-Spurs inexperienced manager showed up how rubbish this Brenda guy is....

Hope he stays for a very longtime in charge of Liverpool.

Brendon would probably win a trophy if he had a good enough squad of players

I dont think his signings have been that poor. Markovic is for the future, it was said when he signed. Balo was a gamble, i dont get it but we all knew it was. Can, Lallana, Coutinho, Sturridge, have all been fine.

Manq is a loan. The signings with question marks over them are Lovren, Moreno, Lambert, Borini and Allen. I would suggest Moreno has enough to become a very good player and Allen has been inconsistent nothing more or less. Lambert and Lovren i would say have offered bvery little....over all not as bad as many make out.

City fans will love today, after cheeky Brendy mouthed off,and he has done exactly what at Anfield?
He is nothing to do with their history, and without Suarez, has done diddly.

Brendan, is that you?

Not every reaction is knee-jerk.

A better manager than Rodgers (proven), is possibly available.

Rodgers hasn't proved he is a winner. That's a big problem when you manage Liverpool.

FSG will be thinking very carefully, make no mistake.

They have proved they are ruthless.

Hoping your not referring to klopp? Hes just had BD in the relegation places this season, BR just hovering outside the Cl places and hit two semi finlas and some want him gone...what chance has Klopp got!!!

posted on 19/4/15

You can't call it knee jerk when the season is about done and we've made a dog's breakfast of the whole campaign, be it in the league and in cup competitions (that unbeaten run notwithstanding when even during that spell we rode our luck).

Get your head out of the bldy sand and admit it's been a disaster. Suarez's money was wasted on bang average. Whoever you consider to be future potential has done jack this season. The future takes care of itself. £20 million or so spent on absolute amateurs and wtf where we thinking with Balotelli? Dalglish won a trophy and was sacked; Rodgers has won frack all.

The gambles haven't paid off. End of story.

Klopp is a better manager than Rodgers.

Prove otherwise.

Wishi your so far wide of the mark. Teams DO need time and that goes for ours too, you cant just wave a wand and hey presto we suddenly jump above City, Utd Arsenal and CFC..wtf so ypu expect.

We SHOULD have won today, we were favs for a reason but we didnt, it happens. As i said its next season that the genuine question marks can be raised.

posted on 19/4/15

FSG will be raising those questions now.

They MIGHT wait.

They might not.

Was at the game today, sitting in Heathrow now very disappointed. Went out white a whimper.

I'm staying off here for a few days I think, I don't want BR gone and this place will just melt my head.

I tell you what I expected, a damn sight better showing than what we got for the money we spent.

I expected a quality striker to replace Suarez and it didn't happen. Instead we bottled it and went for Balotelli, an infamous 'It' guy who scores goals for Italy, but he's been missing for us because he hasn't wanted to know. We buy a God awful defender in Lovren who couldn't catch a cold. Where was the plan to replace Sturridge if he got injured - and he was for most of the season? Non-existent.

I'm not saying we could have won the title this season but you don't finish 2nd one season then drop down the table the next, you move forward. It was plain early on we didn't have the personnel to do it so what happened in January? Frack all. We have to do what we have with the sht we got and that was BR's mandate.

It's not all his fault. It partly lies with the idiots who told him who to spend the money on, who wouldn't know a good footballer if one kicked them in the balls.

Quoting GB:
"His close run title last season and the two semi finals this season should IMO buy him another season at the very least".
********************************************
Last season he bought himself a bad season "Get Out of Jail Free Card".

I hope he'll be able to use it and have summer to get the signings/sellings correct and to have an improved season.

Klopp - I don't know, I think City will get him.

Stick with BR, he'll be under pressure and have sleepless nights I'm sure.

posted on 19/4/15

Lovren isnt a bad defender, in fact go ask the saints board about him. Dont you ever think that maybe, just maybe some players need a season to bed in?

The real failure under BR imo is the striker department, he has signed:

Aspas
Balo
Lambert
Sturridge
Borini

One success and hes injury prone; right there is why LFC are not in cup finals and the top 4 RIGHT NOW, you can blame BR for that.

Rodgers says "You’ve got Liverpool and Man United as the two biggest clubs in this country – the rest are fighting to be there."

Rodgers says "Sterling would be wrong to join Man City, if you say that City is a bigger club than Liverpool, you’re wrong."

Rodgers says " Defending is easy"

Brendon just tells it how it is

Your defence and keeper are dodgy too.

I'm just happy you are still around GB. I religiously follow your articles & would be disappointed if u left Ja

can't really think you can blame Rodgers for all his top targets choosing other clubs and flat out rejecting us.

Under FFP everyone knows we're basically stuck in 5-7th including our targets.
