I understand a team near the foot of the table coming to the Emirates or Old Trafford and defending for their lives. However,I can rarely see circumstances where a top 4 team has to' park the bus' anywhere domestically at least. Of course you can play badly or the other team play well and have to defend, but that is not the same thing as having a game plan to defend and hopefully nick one to win the game.
Remember you lot parking the bus against Arsenal and Ston and winning. Its all about momentum, form and tour position in the table

When Arsenal parked the bus against Man City they weren't complaining now, When the shoe fits then it's a good tactic, When it doesn't benefit them then it's a disgraceful, Small club approach.

Arsenal are improving.
Keeping a clean sheet against 38yr old Drogba
No team should set up allowing you to get in behind them with ease

Someone like Ibra can help get through the bus, but I seriously hope we don't sign him.

Only just Drogba alone had as many shots on goal as Arsenal yesterday
We didn't literally park the bus either, If you watched the game you'd notice that Arsenals' build up play was really slow, Which allowed us to get back into position, Even Wenger admitted this. We again had the best chances and were denied at least 1 penalty.

It's personal preference really. Defensive football can create goals as much as attacking football when done correctly - it isn't a barometer of entertainment. Likewise, attacking football can be boring too if it results in passing it around endlessly in the final third waiting for a chance.
Parking the bus is just a stupid term that isn't used as much as people think it is.
I don't blame LVG for yesterday as it was just one of those days.
What I would say however is that we've seen the best and worst of LVG's tactics over the past few weeks. At its best we have games like Liverpool and City where we're fired up and go for it and dominate in the best way - i.e, scoring goals.
At it's worst we see yesterdays game where we look like the cliched version of Arsenal where we play it around the edge of the box but do nothing with it.
I've seen enough in those Liverpool and City games to not worry too much but i'd just hope that we sort out the defence in the summer because we can have off days with this kind of formation but only if we have a good defence to stop the rot in games like yesterday.
With a good defence, games like yesterday will finish 0-0 next season which is obviously far preferable to a loss and those ground out points on bad days could get us closer to a title challenge.

Did you know, you aren't able to park a literal bus on a football pitch during a game?
It's actually in the rules on page 18 - "Only 22 players (11 from each team) & the officials are permitted to be in the field of play at any time. Parties with restricted access to the pitch includes, but is not limited to, managers, coaching staff, buses, fans & the mascots."
In the interests of balance, can I point out that other cràp football teams are available.
I'm actually quite glad I missed yesterday's game, though quite why my dad decided to have his birthday on the same day as the Everton game is beyond me.
that early goal had us pushing further forward, exposing our poor defense even more.
they played a great counter attacking game, hats off to them.
It will happen less and less though, as we strengthen the defense and our attack becomes more potent.
And when will that happen, Ji?
I thought Chelsea were playing some good football when the chants started and actually thought they were ironic chants from the away section, I think it had more to do with their own frustrations rather than the football.

When the transfer window opens.
I think we will get CL football, which should open us up to signing more to quality players.
I just don’t know what game some of the Arsenal fans watched, just because we can organise a defence when the opponent has possession doesn’t mean we parked the bus, Chelsea had a decent amount of the ball away to a title rival who fancy themselves as a possession team and created the best chances over the game. I though Chelsea we well balanced
They had made their mind up before the game we’d park the bus and just because it was a 0-0 would rather point the finger rather than look at their own lacklustre elements.
Droog, I watched the game and it was pretty even in the first half. I was surprised how much Chelsea attacked but come the second half your manager threw the blanket over Arsenal and just sat back.
Fair enough, I don't have an issue with it (other than it cost me an acca), I just guess people like to label other teams.
