Glad you got back safely and well done 👏👏

Surely a decision has to be made soon?

Cheers utg.

Did you hear the reason why Dean Hoyle didn't do the ride? If not, his youngest son was rushed in for his appendix out. He was still there last night waiting for the last two cyclists to come back

As for the game, complete farce, on our way past the ground there was loads of police and police horses. Fingers crossed we get the points. The league table currently says we've only played 45 games.

Much to Harrogate's disgust... To think that they doubled us & we can still finish above them....

I know how painful appendicitis is do can sympathise with Dean's son, I had mine out when I was 13, many years ago.

We used to have bath salts when I was a young un, they may have been Epson.

My wife, girlfriend at the time, went to the doctors with pains in her stomach area. She's a nurse by the way, she actually enquired if it could have been an issue with her appendix. Doctor said no, just probably a viral thing.

She was soon rushed to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with appendicitis! Some doctors are muppets.

...she was extremely ill, thought I was going to lose her.

Bloody hell lv. I was seven, and I kept getting bloated, to a point were I couldn't get my pants on. I was eating normally etc. I was in agony, the doctor came to our house and said I had "trapped wind" so we got on with it.

The following day I was in agony, so my dad took me to the doctors. Another doctor looked at me and dialed 999. I was taken to hospital with a severe kidney infection, and if left I could have possibly died!

Is this good for my protein...?

If finishing 15th is an achievement because it's above Leeds, it's pretty sad tbh. We've been shockingly poor and deserve nothing, we've had no stability and a circus going on all season - you still couldn't beat us.

Think about that.

Although they might have gone about it in the wrong way at least Blackpool fans cared enough to protest. Have I missed all the Leeds protests against their circus?

Beating you everytime became boring, thought we'd give you a bit of joy in your lives by not turning up against you

Harrogate, don't get the wrong end of the stick. Town have had a very indifferent season, consistency has been a dirty word. My point was that one of your fellow supporters came on our board and shouted off about the promotion/relegation thing. I don't think it's a successful season if Town beat Leeds, to me, a successful season is gaining promotion.

Was talking to my (Leeds fan) brother about this only yesterday. Told him when we meet next season I hope you've won 10 on the bounce going into it, with every player in good form...The past two times we've been to Elland Road you've been in apparent "disarray", and all it's served to do is galvanise you as a club leaving us to come away with a battering! Hopefully you've got your acts together next season and we can go back to being your bogey team. Stupid Cellino and his stupid ways

Leeds will never play top flight football again, unless they go into administration and start again...any potential investor would have to cough up 50/60 million just to buy the ground and pay off all the debt...then another 40/50 mill to be promotion contenders....its just not gonna happen

Shame....

Still couldn't afford to spend that sort of money because of financial fair play restrictions. Forest tried throwing much less at it and still ended up getting punished, despite not being a much smaller club than Leeds. Clubs will have to be much cannier from now on, though it can be done on a reasonable budget - just ask Bournemouth. The saving grace for Leeds at the moment is that their academy is working; I think in a few games this season their entire midfield was made up of academy products - not many clubs can boast that in the modern game.

Luckily for the rest of the teams in our league that club is a magnet for ar5ehole owners looking to asset strip. Until that side of things is sorted out they'll not be going anywhere anytime soon. Average attendances are already dwindling and they could be on a slippery slope if ownership problems aren't resolved quickly.

Off subject, but there is a unique situation happening in Bristol... Both City & Rovers are playing now at home....

posted on 3/5/15

Good season for both teams...not sure I'd fancy being out on the lash there this afternoon however. More chance of Jonathan Trott scoring another test run than those two ever getting on with one another

I know, shame, who for the play offs? Any one apart from Swindon.

posted on 3/5/15

Yeah, anyone but Swindon. We need as many local(ish) teams as possible.

Anyone heard when a decision will be made?

posted on 3/5/15

Well it's bank holiday, so would imagine Tuesday,.

posted on 3/5/15

You'd have thought they would have sorted it today!! It's not fair to make us wait for a decision.

Champers, you're right RE Leeds and financial fair play. Our owner bought 18 (mainly sh ite) players, it's nothing to do with spending a load of cash in this league, it's about going out and buying the right players at the right time - not selling your best and having some stability. How many times has your owner sold your best players and pocketed the money? Not exactly a saint is he.

We got 33k at ER on sat by the way and sold all of our away games out, fans are all still there.
