I wasn't having a pop, Harrogate. There's no doubting the potential of a club like Leeds United. I was basically highlighting how your average gates are dropping to further back up the financial fair play side of my post.
I'm certainly not looking to open up another done-to-death argument about fan numbers.
Harrogate leeds only have 11000 season ticket holders...town have as many
Now for a city of nearly 1m people that is peise poor!...just remember udders has a population of 140k,and we are also one of the best away supported teams in the division...usually the 5/6th best in the division...15/20% of our home support go to away games as well
Any club in the football league would fill their grounds if in the premier league...dress it up how you want you will NEVER play in the top division again...no man alive would risk 100m minimum to drag leeds outa the sheite!
The only hope you have is administration and to start again
Not sure how we are gonna get match commentarys of the games next season other than the town player...as it was mentioned on radio leeds on saturday by gareth jones that it was a sad way to end 10 years of town match coverage?
He didnt elaborate but said some of them could be out of work
Bloody hell! Didn't the pulse used to cover us?
They did hydy at one point around the mid 90,s
Also home 107.9 covered us until they went bust...i know the beeb have been making cut backs and have threatened before to pull the plug and maybe our deal with them has run out?
He didnt defo rule it out,but its in the balance
Hope not, still we could have that fooking idiot Pope talking about us....
Football league has announced the game will not be replayed and the result considered on May 14th.
May 14th! Why can't they just give us the 3 points, give Blackpool a points deduction for next season. Why wait 10 days..
The Football League have announced it won't be replayed. In which case the only alternative is to award us the 3 points. Anything else and I think our legal team will be earning their money.
That's the only solution but this is the Football League we're talking about.
The FA are looking into the pitch invasion but no idea when they'll announce any findings.
I'd rather not get the 3 points it would only lead to pointless bickering between Town and Leeds fans
Our lot would be giving it the big I Am about finishing above them and Leeds fans would claim it's only down to the Football League.
Give a point to both teams and hit Blackpool with a big fine and move on

No chance. Higher league place = more money. Might not be millions but why should we accept less when we could have won that game fairly but for the actions of the home supporters?

More money?
What money, to the best of my knowledge the only teams in this division that get prize money are those that are promoted, the 3 losing play off teams share a percentage of the ticket money pooled from the 5 play off games.
Doubt us finishing 1 spot higher in mid table is going to rake in a further £10k in sponsorships
Wakey, a point each will never happen, it would set a precedence for future pitch invasions. If a club needs one point to go up or down, then a pitch invasion after half time would guarantee that 'golden' one point!
If the FA, in their wisdom, do arrive at a point each, then we go down a very, very, slippery slope.
Ok so a point to Town and 0 for Blackpool with a fine.
No point deducting points from them this season as it doesn't affect them
waltzing - you're hoping we never get promoted again, but we will and rub it right in your face when we do
I thought you didn't care about us?
I,ll see you int kilner bank harrogate when we get promoted next season and you lot start supporting..The daddies of west yorkshire
I'd genuinely congratulate you if you get promoted.
Whats with all the over nostalgiasizing with lionel messi?
His first goal last night was no better or different to joe lolley,s goal against blackburn...cut in from t right n rifled it in...its all hype with him and he,s been crap for his country
Ian dunns goal at leeds road against stoke was far better when it got stuck in the extansion it was hit that hard
