Team played well, just a pity City decided to have probably their best game for week`s. City defended well.

Fazio is a cumbersome carthorse and Mason offers nothing but effort and enthusiasm, and a team like Spurs needs more than just that in CM.

Other than those two I thought we played OK and deserved at least a draw, unfortunately £ity had probably their best defensive display of the year.

It's not as if effort and talent are mutually exclusive, just have to find the right player and not negotiate over pennies.

I was very disappointed with their goal. I thought Mason's decision to try and play Aguero offside when he was 2 yards onside was a poor decision and cowardly. I believe he did it because it was the easy option rather than follow him and get shown up by his skill.
I liked Mason but am beginning to think we need someone better.

Mason was poor and Eriksen not much better. We got off to a great start but that was also where we lost it by not taking any of those good chances, and paid the price once City woke up.

A lot of work to be done to improve.

Spurtle, yep a lot of work does need rectifying but do you trust levy to give poch the tools to make this happen? I certainly don't.

We kind of mugged you. But at least it was proper football not the tedious shiiite on display elsewhere.

Need a leader at CB.

Partner for Bentaleb.

A pacey attacking option.

We're not a million miles off.

We lack technically and don't have the expressive players within the team to influence games enough. Not really confident things will change next season either. This is the Spurs way

COR....I FEEL WE ARE A LONG WAY OFF......

still piff at the back....still no experienced calming influence to stop the brain fart moments......

no player that has an ounce of game management.....

don't look strong enough......eriksen.....dier...both jumping out of challenge's......

and no depth what so ever......

long way off.....we had our chance to break T4 while g00ns were sorting out the death star payments.....and well....all bar once we blew it......be a long time until we go again...if ever.

Thought it was a good game today. Your pressing helped us a by when we upped the tempo as it left spaces for Aguero to go into. Him and silva were the difference though, you would have won comfortably had you had those two on your side today.

Future bodes well for you, a couple of additions in the summer and you'll be up there next year.

I thought we were the slightly better side today. Rather than highlight the negatives I think Rose deserves credit for putting in a good shift and I thought Lamela looked better today as well although at times he didn't look like he wanted to pull the trigger often opting for the extra pass? When he did take the initiative he looked good. Cannot wait for the season to be over now and we have a more balanced and more capable squad next season. Glass half full me.

If we can get in a couple of quality players then we have a good chance next year. Poch has laid the foundations of a good team this year.

You sound like you need anti-depressants, Spurs are no way as bad as you making them out to be. They could have quite easily won today.

There were some good performances from a lot of the team.

I can handle losing if they put in a shift, which they clearly did today.

Sandy was at the game today they put in a shift but as others have said lack quality in final third, how lamela gets to stay on for 90mins dont know , Dier was our most advanced player most of the game did Ok but cant help wishing for a pacy wide man to get behind the defence, a bit more quality and clinical finishing and we would have won this, bringing Adebeyer and soldado on the last 10min really shows our limitations

I cannot believe we lost this game.
Its simply ridiculous.
We dominated the pitch. We played the first half in their penalty area. We had half a dozen good chances and ...none went in.
Then we get sucker punched.
How can Mason miss that shot?
He was on the six yard line.
Why not just volley the ball into the net?
If he'd blasted it over the bar I'd have been happier than just tamely prodding it into Joe Hart's grateful hands.
Truth is, our team is just useless in front of goal .... either goal, theirs or ours.

Played well enough, but we're not good enough really. Mason's decision to step up when Aguero made the run was abysmal. While the goal looked very good and slick, it's such a basic move.

Sandy, I'm pis sssed ... and I'm sure you understand why!
There've been articles on here about it still being possible for us to make top four.
Well, No it isn't possible.
We proved it today!
And I note with great satisfaction as regards next season that Pochettino is asking to have control over the transfers.

There is little point in Europa. They aren't good enough to progress beyond the last 16. At a push they could potentially go out of the quarter finals. The manner in which they went out this season was pathetic and the fans could have justifiably rioted because of the limp effort of the players, and the pathetic management of our loser coach.

Far better to concentrate of the league on the domestic cups.

Oh, they make some money out of the Europa games.
Its been too much about money. I think Poch is beginning to see that now.

why can you not believe it?

its what we do, and what we have done ever since i have been watching spurs (almost exactly 20 years)……. dominate games.. better side… don't finish chances… concede sloppy goal… get a poor result.

nothing new here
