No she's staying with her cousin just outside Oslo. The most unreal thing is that last night there were just 2 reported deaths on that Island.....then later on it was about 15.....then when i got up for work this morning at 7 i turned on the news and it was over 80.

This kind of thing just doesn't happen in Norway.

Glad to hear that about your mother. It's crazy that one man done all this!

I still can barely believe it, one man killing so many people.

Rosberg got 7th! Disappointed in him. Should have got 6th from Sutil!

I like Sutil, he gets so much from that car. Think he would do very well in a stronger car

Whatever.

Why is it that Ferrari always F up Massa's pit stops?

Enhorabuena Uruguay! Best team in South America without a doubt, well deserved!

Yo dudes

Not been on for a while so thought i'd say hello .

Well done Uruguay on winning the Copa America.

Funny - Uruguay and Paraguay made the Copa America final, knocking out the theoretical favourites - but they'd been arguably the two best-performing South American sides at the World Cup (Paraguay pushing Spain to the limit in the QF's, remember).

Brazil & Argentina will always be touted favourites, but this Copa America was actually true to the form card from the World Cup.

i agree ioag..but i'd add chile to that aswell, as they were also v good at the WC..

the conembol zone is v v strong at the moment...

dont worry about larissa dr f...there's plenty of youtubes vids of that little honey

with penarol also making the libertadores cup final, and uruguay reaching the WC semis..this is the rebirth of uruguay as a world footballing power

I think it's a flash in the pan - I reckon Uruguay's population is too small for them to be sustained challengers.

It's great to see them up there though. As some guy once said - Uruguay's one massive football pitch with a few houses dotted around it.

still think colombia are the SA country with the biggest potential to threaten Argentina and Brazil long term .

posted on 25/7/11

They should be, but they can't seem to get their act together. Venezuela's got great potential too imo, but it's only recently that footy's become as popular as baseball's traditionally been. Actually, population-wise Peru and Chile should also be able to put in a stiffer challenge.

Personally I think the CONMEBOL and CONCACAF should be merged into one. Now that the Yanks have taken to footy a bit more, the CONCACAF is little more than a 2-team contest but without stiffer competition in their geographical zone the States and Mexico will always find it hard to compete on the biggest stage. Meanwhile teams don't even need to qualify for the Copa America, which in itself takes a bit of gloss off the tournament imo. Also, FIFA should try to get continental associations to reschedule to hold the continental tournaments in the same year.

Can we just scrap international football all together.
