Depends - putting a new article up might attract a few newcomers, but I imagine site usage is still a bit low as the season hasn't really kicked off yet.
If you do make a new one I suggest no one makes any more comments on this one to make sure the link to the new one doesn't get pushed out of view. That way occasional visitors who haven't popped in for some time can see it and know where to find us.
cheers for that IOAG
I might put a new one up later this week, not sure yet
spain nearly did it in the basketball.....so close !
I think we should start a coup d'état and takeover the forum.
Yeah, Spain played well, but the US were missing their 3 best big men for the Games (Howard, Bosh & Griffin). With our own golden generation ageing now, unless the Yanks start sending weakened teams again I don't think we'll have a better crack at them than yesterday.
Apparently though, the NBA is pressuring FIBA to adopt a football-style U-23 plus 2 or 3 over-age players for Olympic basketball tournaments.
IOAG, do you think Cazorla is better than Silva?
Toughie that. I think he's more versatile and participative than Silva, but Silva's probably more capable of making the difference in and around the area.
Also, Silva's already shown he can adapt to playing abroad, Cazorla still needs to do that.
Was he any good in his Arsenal début?
Presuming neither Garnett and Duncan (who can still scrap it out despite age) were available for selection, I think he's the 3rd best big man they could've sent.
He had a very impressive debut, IOAG
You think Griffin is better than Love?
No Saint, I'm talking bout the players they left behind. The USA didn't really have enough in the paint to go against Spain. Any of the other guys mentioned would have hugely improved their match up. Marc Gasol's foul trouble so early on helped them a lot, but they were still overpowered there. Pau had a great game, but he wouldn't have had it so easy with more cms in the paint.
I just read that Serge Ibaka's the 16th of 18th children.

Stop it, you're too old for him.
An alternative look at the medals table:
1st The fattest country in the world
2nd China
3rd The fattest country in Europe
Citius, altius, fattius?
I suppose that adds a whole new meaning to the term "fast food".

Piqué is out for 2-3 weeks, doubt for El Clasico.
