Ok the Scottish have no right to moan about this. They voted to stay in the UK. Everybody knew there would be either a Tory/whoever coalition or as is looking the case a majority. They had their chance to leave.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pensioners and English living in Scotland as well as expat Scots voted No
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what you're saying is certain people living in Scotland should be allowed to vote on Scottish independence. Sure.

Yeah the second you even think about stopping our advance on York we'll just whip the nukes out and make sweet love to you
C havs guide to success!
Jobs - type jobs + location into google, then apply(there's loads, knock up a decent cover letter and CV) - or get a nice shirt and tie on and hand them out, introduce yourself and ask if thee are any vacancies, discuss why you'd be suitable and make a good impression.
Buying a House - Stop drinking 10 pints down the pub and 7.20 every few days on cigarettes (just until you've saved 10k for a deposit n a small, modest property, get on the ladder and work your way up.
immigrants are taking all the jobs, a quick google search proves that there are still quite a few left.

if thats the case, why are so many of them who come over out of work if its that simple to get a job??
like i say, no issue with the ones that are prepared to work, its the ones who come over, do feck all and have more money in their pockets than those who graft all day have.
thats where i have a problem.
People who change their party every election are the biggest thicko's as they clearly don't know enough of the parties to have a strong view. These make up the marginal seats which determine the winning party of elections. Hence our government is decided by a bunch of thicko's.

It's much thicker to keep voting for the same party 'just because'.
Voting should be about the policies they intend to put in place, and that's what should decide your vote, not some stupid football-like sort of fanatism.
Parties don't always support the same issues. Just look back over the years and see changes on issues pertaining to women's rights, marriage/divorce, health, education, taxation....a whole range of issues right across the economic and social board.
You'v got to be thick to vote for a party simply due to some obscure sense of them being aligned with what you think.

Over here in NI many voters chose a candidate simply because of their religious beliefs, or the party’s affiliation with the UK or Ireland (green or orange) – regardless of policy or manifesto
The only parties that I believe people should change to is mildly extreme parties when they feel their party isn't representing them well enough. A voter changing from Labour to Conservative I think is ridiculous as they are complete opposites.
Ah well, we can now look forward to our great leader making some more of those "difficult decisions" that have resulted in a boom in food banks, homelessness, and families being bled dry by such things as the spare bedroom tax, the ever growing privatisation of the NHS, splurge in zero hours contracts, but remember, we're all in this together
Farage makes a huge SWEEPING statement that he'll quit as UKIP leader............(but he'll be back in their leadership elections in September)
That typifies Farage entirely. All hot air and bluster but a complete misrepresentation of the situation....

Did the UKIP voters think they'd wake up this morning, and all the immigrants would have vanished?
Right back at the OP, don't want an austerity fuelled party running the WHOLE UK when Scotland are supposed to be an important part
What would Stuart Pearce do?
We've had plenty of that in Spain too, but along nationalist lines, which is just as bad imo.

It depends really. Centre-left and centre-right can be very, very close to each other on many issues, and certainly much further away from their respective extremes.

Did Labour voters wake up this morning and think they would be in power
4 million people voted ukip and they were 2nd in 120 seats. Don't think this is the end of them.
They had 10 times more votes than SNP and SNP ended up with 56 seats and ukip only one. That's politics for you though.
I'm not ukip voter by the way.
Well I've often hated the FPTP system we have in the UK but it paid off big style last night...
Too much racism and homophobia involved in that party to allow them anywhere near power, bunch of nutters.

I agree - Labour are practically finished and how could they carry on pandering to muslims with a guy with Jewish ancestry leading the way
Practically finished?
Didn't they get more seats than every party bar the Conservatives combined?!
I was obviously referring to UKIP, the only other (mainland) party that would fit the description is the BNP though thankfully they aren't as clever about disguising their beliefs.
