Selling Balotelli

Anytime shortlight and aggers get a chance to criticise the owners and Brendan they will jump on the chance. Still upset that their beloved Kenny was sacked!

Balotelli has been awful and needs to go...end of

He's made runs in games..people overlook it cos its Balotelli.
=================

The use of a plural must mean two then. He doesn't run around enough pure and simple but either way he has not been scapegoated.

He doesn't score enough goals does he. That's the crux of it. At what point does he take control of himself and do it on his own? He can dribble, pass, shoot and head whilst having above average pace and probably has the best touch in the squad.

I don't mind the lad but he doesn't work hard enough.

32 touches is disgusting.

In any walk of life, if it's clear that your boss doesn't rate you, you're going to struggle to perform to the best of your ability.
The amount of vitriol aimed at Mario is ludicrous. IMO it stems from his infamous refusal to talk to The Sun. They continually undermine him and the sheep follow suit.

What abut half of it?

He wasn't scoring from open play in seria A either it should be noted.

I don't get how you can defend Balotelli and then have a go at the likes of Lambert, Boroni and Aspas! Just admit you want Brendan out, and the owners gone

"At what point does he take control of himself and do it on his own?"

At what point does a manager play to a player's strength after seeing endless minutes of nothing? or adjusting his system to suit?

Everyone can see Balo & Sturridge seem to play better with a partner but Rodgers ignored this. Granted Sturridge has been around much but before this latest injury there was a spell of games Rodgers could've play them together but alas...nothing.

He divided opinion from the off.

He has done nothing in terms of performance level, goal scoring and basic effort to warrant persisting with him.

He has doing what he has generally done throughout his career at various clubs. Namely under performed.

You want him to build a team around him? Really?

The spell of games when Studge did come back we won so.......

Where did i say build the team around him?...stop creating an imaginary debate in your head and then reply to me

Well originally you said Brendan has scapegoated him which he clearly hasn't so apologies for digressing.

Also apologies for thinking playing to his strengths would mean completely altering the system.

It's worth noting though that Balotelli's strength are pace an power. Perhaps Balo should play to his own strengths?

Anyways...my comment was that Rodgers handling of Balotelli was atrocious. And its true
He made it seem like all our bad play this season was down to Balotelli, which isnt the case and the manager should take a very good look at himself for some of the dross served up this season.

No, he didn't.

I've rarely seen Rodgers single out a player in the media with that negativity before

Was it that bad? It's posted above.

Its bad man-management. How can you not see that?

Nothing mentioned about Lovren, Lambert or Moreno (who probably cost us more than Balotelli)
Gerrard was "excellent" after the Villa match

Do you do it in front of all the others?

Or even in front of clients?

I guess because every manager who has ever worked with him says similar stuff.

He simply doesn't work hard enough. How can you not see that?

Good to see you're getting with the programme!

Apart from being poor...which can be said for most of the squad. What has Belotelli done that has been so bad to deserve slagging?

posted on 8/5/15

his teammates have lost faith in him, he has put in some acceptable performances recently, but because of his early season stuff of shooting from just about anywhere and making wrong decisions, when he does get into a good position and make a decent pass into a good area, the others havent made those runs because its not what they were expecting
