Blueboy it was a quality disney cartoon.
Flight of the Navigator !!!!
Im gonna have to edit my top 5 soon.
Based on the book but I literally watched Stand By Me 100 times from the age of about 7, I was obsessed with it.
The young gang were old enough to seem cool but not so old they alienated me and the club house with the mates, being a rebel but among friends, the comradery and the adventure really appealed, loved it.
The Goo nies, Back to the Future 2, Teen Wolf were all others I watched a lot.

Gremlins!!!
I need a top 20
Last Starfighter! Great movie. Was the dream at the time. Being great at video games and being called up by some alien nation to use your gaming skills.
Anyone remember the Wizard? With Fred Savage and a NES tournament. They had the NES power glove.
Cannonball Run! I think I saw that in the cinema? The bird always laughs her ass off when I tell her all the oldschool movies I saw at the cinema before she was even born <feelingoldsmiley>

Damn right it is but when you were boy, you never admitted to watching Disney.
Home Alone the original obviously as well, can still remeber it almost word for word! First line *as camera zooms on chaotic house while they're packing* 'Has anyone seen my hair dryer?'
Last line? Easy 'Kevvvvvvin, what have you done to my room?!'

My wifes from the other side of the world and had seen precisely zero of my favourite movies as a kid. She absolutely will hate it when i go home tonight with a list of more miovies she has to watch.
Watching the D.A.R.Y.L or War Games for the first time as an adult with no nostalgia attached prtobably isn;t a whole heap of fun.

I tried to watch DARYL again the other day. Was rubbish. But the Boy who could fly still stands up to today.
Just remembered another classic...
Adventures in Babysitting!

Way too many to fit into a top 5, but:
Space Jam
Toy Story
Gremlins
Jungle book
Jumanji
I'd have to put in the original Karate Kid too, my mum got so fed up up me kicking her sofa she sent me for Karate lessons.
They'd spend weeks teaching us the techniques, we'd imitative them then they'd pair us up to fight and all hell and zero technique would break out.
