It was never in doubt, TB πŸ˜‰

Credit to Nigel and the boys, what a run after being bottom of the table for 140 days.

And while I'm about it, huge credit to the owners for sticking when the whole world (it felt like it on here at least) was telling them they should twist.

Happy days....

What a decision that now looks from Top.

No Dad, this man will keep us up. He may be nuts but he's a motivational genius.

Ok son, I hope you're right.

Top by name, top by nature. Our owners deserve this for everything they've done for our club...

Great news for LCFC. Good for Midlands football too!

Very pleased for your fans who stayed loyal and saw it thru! (Those who didnt... well, you know who you are).

Knockaert in the squad next week unless of course he decides to stay now?

Midland, despite individual thoughts on Pearson fans stayed loyal by continuing to buy the match tickets, merchandise and getting behind the team at the King Power. Many of those fans were like me despairing at what we were seeing but it doesn't mean, because we called into question the manager and his tactics, that we weren't loyal to the football club.

I'm big enough to admit that Pearson was in the end the right man, not sure some would do the same if the boot was on he other foot.

Congratulations to a fantastic rescue operation by everyone connected with the club and special mention to True Blue who never saw it as a rescue operation - always sure of our safety

I also now understand the stresses you guys stand who have to watch the results unfold on your streams and laptops - grounded medically I had to also endure this torture missing attending only my second game

Now we have to think about the future ............ but meanwhile what a party next week at King Power

Well done True Blue I award you one weeks crowing rights

I wonder if any West Brom fans will come and apologise for calling me mental for thinking we'd finish 11th-16th πŸ˜‚

Get in!!! Incredible turnaround and HUGE. Credit to Pearson and the players for never losing focus or belief.
WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!!!

arro let's get this straight, you were the one who came onto the west brom board spouting off how poor we were, that we'd be relegated and that you would be comfortable this season all of which has been proven to not be true.

The aggregate score between our two clubs was 2-2 with 3 points each so that in a sense makes us equals, we haven't been relegated and you did in fact struggle this season. You brought the beef to the table and we went for the roast.

Credit where it is due you have stayed up thanks to a remarkable run, fair play and congratulations.

Next time just don't be so oblivious of our team and so antagonistic in your approach to other fans and everyone can get along.

Yes I did say you were poor, I said Ulloa would be better value than Ideye and I said if you got rid of Irvine and get Pulis then you'd stay up. I still don't think you're a good side though and I think we're a better team. I read we're in the top five clubs in Europe on form. Not bad.

It took us a while to get used to the league but they've performed well all season and have never been outclassed and lost most games by the odd goal. I'd say all our players have proven they're good enough and we're better than our league position suggests, which has been true all season.

Not one of your fans gave our team any credit because our players were all Championship players and I was assured that they wouldn't be able to step up to the Premier League purely because you'd either never heard of them or just thought your established side was so much better than ours. It wouldn't be surprising at all if we finish above you now.

I'm not interested in arguing with my own fans but I'll quite happily say this to you and every other West Brom fan, I had faith in this team and my faith has been justified! I was right and you were wrong πŸ‘

Leave it Arro. We're staying up!!

But you simply weren't were you other then that you would survive and as I said well done for that.

However for you to try and claim we were the unfair ones because of what was said about your players, who was it who first came out with the line that our team was poor because you'd never heard of them arro? It was you! You came on the wum so naturally the fans you were wumming returned the favour.

I'm not here for an argument, I came to congratulate all of you but yet again you start digging. I won't be having an argument with you so I will just leave you with these words of wisdom. Be careful what you say because like many others on here, words can really come back and bite you on the @ rse

Best 0-0 I've ever been to. Fantastic atmosphere, particularly when it filtered through that Spurs had scored. What a day and thank goodness we can relax and enjoy next Saturday!

What a fantastic effort by everybody associated with LCFC!

I was amongst those who felt Nigel should go mid season, and were convinced we were doomed. I'm so pleased that he has proved me wrong and I am gladly munching my way through a huge slice of humble pie.

Here's to next season and I hope we can push on to greater things.

Hats off to True Blue who always believed!

I think your manager is a total príck but I've no problem with your club, congratulations and see you next season.

posted on 16/5/15

Oh dear arro

You have struggled for the majority of the season, you've survived with 1 game to go

Congrats on the survival though. Love an away day at Leicester. Still think our escape 10 years ago just pipped it as the 'greatest' escape though

Reality is, at the start of the season I believed you would struggle, not necessarily go down

You made no bones of the fact we were certain to go down, and you were certain to finish above us.

Yet the reality is we (at worst barring a miracle from Sunderland) will finish 14th. And if we can accrue a point will be 13th.

And I'm confident next season with the correct levels of improvement in the squad we should be able to push back into the top half again

Let's hope for your sake you don't suffer the 'second season syndrome' like Hull eh
