Nani and Chicharito

I wouldn't be adverse to having Rooney, Chich and Wilson as our options up top and getting rid of Falcao and RVP.

I do accept the view that this would be very risky as we will have more games

Would also just try and cash in on Nani and get £10-15m

I'd flog them. Literally. Then sell them.

Chicharito isn't a good forward in a 433/451 system. Lacks technique and strength to keep hold of the ball. Not unlike Falcao, but I think Falcao is slightly better. For me he's only really effective with a strike partner alongside him.

Not sure whether Nani is too far away from Di Maria in terms of losing the ball too much. LVG has already said Di Maria needs to shape up or ship out. He already shipped Nani out. Can't really see him back.

Not that risky. Mata, Di Maria and Adnan could all play no.10. So we'd still have plenty of options.

I'd have them both back.

Nani can provide some much needed pace, flair, penetration and productivity - he gets a pretty good number of assists and is more of a goal threat than Young and Di Maria.

Hernandez can consider himself harshly done by I think - we loaned him out, shipped out Welbeck who had a weaker scoring record and brought in Falcao, who has been a donkey.

If Chica is happy to play a limited role then sure. I get the feeling he isn't though.

I think Nani will be off. We currently have 3 players ahead of him in the pecking order, with Depay soon to join them

The other reason I'd keep Nani...

We can all agree that we lack pace in attacking areas. The signing of Depay makes up for that but presumably he'll be lining up from the left hand side, replacing Young (our current quickest attacker in the starting 11), meaning we haven't really added pace to the team, just swapped one quick player for a slightly quicker one.

It looks as though LvG is keen to move us towards the 4-3-3, so Depay on the left, a central striker (Rooney) and then the right sided attacker... For me Nani would fit the role perfectly. Adept on both feet, adds pace, can offer more of a goal threat etc... In other words, the right sided attacking slot is the only position on the pitch that we can look to add pace, as Depay and Rooney will surely take the other two forward roles.

I'd rather not see Di Maria on the right. He's too left footed and isn't much of a goal threat. I'd also rather not see Mata there, as he lack the pace and penetration we need. Love him as a player, but not for that particular role.

I think Nani will be off, but I'd like to be wrong.

Yup. Wouldn't be too bothered if he left but I do think he'll be better next season.

Is this the vision for next year? I know a few people want Rooney sold or dropped but that aint happening, so....

.............Rooney......

ADM........Mata..........Depay

Looks alright on paper, Nani and Young as back-up when the wingers get injured perhaps. Herrera running from deep ,Shaw and a new right back (Clyne?) bombing on.

Hopefully Blackett, Wilson and McNair can kick on again next season, as much as it is exciting seeing new signing come in i believe you need local players/academy grads. in your first team squad.

That's how id like to see it. Although is sooner have Adnan and Wilson as back up rather than Nani.

Yeah, I'm not a huge Nani fan either but if we can't shift him then he could be useful as a sub. I think Adnan needs to go out on loan as well, getting 15-20 minutes every now and again is doing nothing for him.
