What are you gonna do with $1.54? Doesn't seem like it would cover much
That really depends on if he's being in any way disruptive to the group. He's mates with Sturridge and Ibe, two players that we'll need at the top of their game, and if keeping him in any unsettles them then he should be shipped out for whatever we can get, £20m if that's all there is on offer.
Have to say, I'm really disappointed. I thought Raheem was a star in the making but I'm not sure this is a Rooney'esk play for money - it feels like bridges are burnt.

People say he's not worth £40m and I'd agree with that but look at the facts.
He's a young English player, who's a current england international.
Current European golden boy.
The premier league is a wash with the new tv deal money.
City are desperate to get home grown players in to they're squad.
If we can get £40m
I'd be ecstatic with £35m
I'd take £30m

Reckon 30 mill is about right. Think you've taken a blow with his nonchalant attitude on the pitch and hes out of form and also that hes actually requesting to leave now etc.
Reckon you could of got 40 mill upwards if the sumemr window started a couple months back. He's left you in a poor position imo for any bargaining
do liverpool need the money? How about this scenario, dont sell, let him rot in the reserves, his price plummets but he gets no development of any kind.
Do this to him which is very harsh, but it would stop future young players doing it to the club again
2 years left on contract
Player wants out
Has had mediocre season
You would be lucky to get 30m

Don't think so, his bad form could be put down to his unhappiness. What ever the price he's not going for peanuts and I'm happy for him to go, we've lost 100 tines better players than this kid over the years and I just can't see who will want him.
Chelsea, no!
Arsenal,
City, maybe but that's not london and is he going to get in that team?
Cash + Walcott?
Either way I have a feeling Theo will end up at Liverpool or City next season
reckon if milner goes he will definately get 20 starts, plus i dont really rate navas, or nasri much anymore

Not saying i want Theo out but if he doesnt sign a new contract would you accept 10Mil Plus Theo for Sterling?
I'm torn between getting rid of him ASAP for as much money we can get, or letting him rot in the stiffs for two years. Either way, he's played his last game for LFC. He has been woeful this season and would no no loss.
I secretly hope he does a Torres/Chelsea deal with matching outcome.
Remember the last one to do this? Little Mikey? Went off to Real. Then we had the Istanbul thingy the next season? There is a God in heaven.

Unless City are really desperate, for a player who is causing trouble and wants to leave, you'll be lucky to get more than 25 million. His performances this season would probably value him at a lot less than that!
In this market for English players, a one legged, wheelchair bound fat kid is a minimum of £25mil
Value from a couple of years ago and recent form mean fookall really.
It's a crazy market, but it's the reality
Love the way rival fans are so eager for us to a lesser fee.
I don't think the board will accept less than £35m and I think City will pay that.
I think they may dig their heels in as well. Their is a Euro campaign coming up and I reckon Raheem will want a good season going into that.
Saying other players would be wary about signing is utter nonsense.
And what's all this about his mediocre season? A mediocre season where he has out performed every peer on the same age group whilst playing multiple positions?
Righto.

I am not undervaluing him because I am a rival fan but from what I've seen. Last season, I know that some teams here would have paid up to 50 million € for him but this season, they certainly would not. Teams that might overspend may be Madrid or Man City but not to the extent that many people are stating here.
The one thing I do agree on is the fact that his season has not been helped by playing multiple positions. I really think your coach has been awful this season. He failed to get any form at all from Balotelli - surely he should have done better with him and Lambert. He failed to play Sterling in his best position for long parts of the season - who plays him as a wing back for ffs?? especially when you have Glen Johnson who may not be the greatest but is a more than a little better as a wing back.
Coutinho has been your one success this year. I really believe Brendan Rodgers has been your biggest problem this season.
So you're under valuing him from what you've seen then?
Okay.
You then mention less than £50m. Again- okay.
I simply don't believe this board in particular will roll over. It wouldn't surprise me if they played hardball and I believe that because there is a precedent.
There are not many precedents, however, of players with two years left who suddenly went for a reduced fee.
I agree Rodgers mishandled the attack completely this season
But, at the risk of being a broken record, I honestly believe the loss of Sturridge caused all of this. We coped brilliantly without Suarez when he was banned (although not as good a side). We just lost too much too fast and couldn't cope. And Rodgers didn't choose the right remedy until way too late in the season while persisting with failed tactics for too long in the first half of the season.
He's worth £25m tops. He's shiite.
What is Sterling's motive for wanting to leave a famous PL club? It can't be only money, can it? Or does he see Liverpool entering a 3 year re-building period and doesn't want to stick around for it?

How much for Sterling?
