More like half of the England team will be the problem;
Lyth- question mark
Wood - question mark
Ballance - all over the shop
Bell - lost it
Moeen - question mark
Stokes - inconsistent
Quicks - bowling average at best
yep.....aussies will bash moeen out the game......and our close catching must improve drastically.
Last time we lost to NZ at home was in 1999. The now infamous Chris Cairns was the destroyer then. Glad this is not a 3-match series.

But we'll leave KP out
Would like to get tickets for this summer but Ashes ones are always so expensive.

Agree lefty, KP should be first name on the teamsheet
Congratulations to New Zealand on a magnificent win to level the series.
Their first win against England in England's backyard since 1999 - 16 years of wait, Finally come to an end.
They have been exciting throughtout this test series and were very unlucky to lose the 1st test only for inspired Ben Stokes performance.
However in 2nd Test match - they have been the better team throughtout this test match
Their approach & brand of cricket led by the eccentric captain McCullum is great to see.
Unbeaten in 7 test series. Next big challenge for them is to beat South Africa in South Africa's backyard.
How many 1 dayers we play v Kiwi's ?
What's the highest 1 Day score ever ?

The only change i can see for the 1st test is bringing in a proper spinner for ali. Rashid should get a chance but they could even go back to tredwell or go for a short term option like batty. Can't see the rest of the team changing. Maybe hales could come in at some stage if ballance or bells bad form continues.

Could this Kiwi team break it ?
2 tests imo can never really show which team is better or worse. If India played 2 tests last summer they would have won the series, but we all know what happened.
As much as I know how much better this NZ and even the SAn team is compared to India anyway I find it appalling how teams such as apart from eng, India and aus get away with 2 /3series match with the scoreline either 1-1, 1-0 or 2-1. And many people think they are a lot more respectable results as well. I'm pretty sure if all teams played 4/5 test matches they wouldn't be as close as these 1-2 series matches we see.

Possibly with some players who don't have the experience in One day cricket.
Just look at the past 4-5 test matches that we seen in cricket. I can't remember the last time we had a close series

NZ haven't lost their last 7 test series I believe..
England will stuff Australia.. I make that statement cause it will happen.
Dizzy was on the radio today encouraging the selection of Rashid, I would agree, England are desperate for a match winning spinner who makes things happen.
Whether Rashid is that man, who knows , but he needs a chance.
