I agree. I like Kono a lot and you can't really go with Ings.
Only thing that worried me about Ings was as soon as the pressure was on his goals dried up so maybe London would suit him more.

Ings..Kono..Milner..all free transfers. Who ever gets them will have done ok.
Team Stream reporting £12m bid from Spurs for Ings has been accepted by Burnley.
If correct another reasonably good player choosing to go elsewhere, or being driven to that conclusion by the complete buffoons that manage this club.
The club may have accepted but that doesnt mean the player has to go.
Ings (if its true wants lfc) can just say no wait until his contract winds down and leaves to join who he wants.
Never seen the Ukrainian bloke play.
Don't want Ings.

If this is true, which I really hope it isn't, why are we paying £12m for somebody that is going to be a free transfer in a weeks or so time? Surely it can't be to fend off interest from other clubs. I know we've been quite bad with transfers in the past, but we can't stoop this low surely?
Ledley's knee surgeon
I'd have Ings as a better and younger replacement for Adebayor, especially on a free transfer.
Your dead right. Buffoons I tell you. How dare they not cough up £12mil on a nominal fee for an out of contract youngster with potential when most of our fans criticise FSG for not buying proven players how have they managed to run a business of any sort??. (And breathe).
In terms of value tho I wouldn't complain if LFC signed Ings, Kono or Milner.

If we could have all 3n on free transfers, I'd be quite happy with our summer and I'd say that would be very good summer. At least it gives nus the opportunity to pummel some more cash on another defender.
Btw....team stream? Really
I'm fed up with us signing players just to fill up the squad. I want players who are as good as or better than the best we've already got.
I don't want Ings or Adebayor. Simple.
That costs money though, which we have found out before only ends in flops like Soldado, Lamela, Paulinho and Capoue. To say we wouldn't pay a penny for any of Milner, Ings and Konoplayanka and 2 are HG players as well which is good for European competitions and I think Milner and Konoplayanka are good starting players.
Ings isn't free.
He will cost somewhere in the region of 3-5m in compensation as he is under 24.
He is only free for foreign clubs.

Not if Burnley don't renew his contract and he is released from the club he won't cost anything.

No.
If Burnley don't offer him a contract he is free.
Why the hell would they not offer him a contract?
Don't they like money?

I agree. To say we won't pay a penny for any of the 3 is excellent really, they would be a very good coupe signing for us. Another CB I would agree with, someone who is as good as Vertonghen I would say. Maybe not another "front 4" player, but maybe for a attacking midfielder. After that, get the deadwood gone.
Pjanic/Strootman would be a very good buy.
They are already resigned to losing him and you've just agreed with me, if Burnley don't offer him a contract he is free and they might need to get him off the wage budget or they can't afford his wages.
Another question would be, why would Ings sign a new contract with Burnley when he knows he will probably move this summer?

Neither are good enough for Spurs, Pool are welcome to them
What?
He doesn't have to sign it silly.
They just have to offer him one.
It's a formality.
