back in the day when a game of fifa was decided by who the better player was 90% of the time compared to which team has the most momentum and scripted goals during the 45th and 90th minute.
i want those days back.

Greg Im with you, even though 15 has been vastly improved after the update, its still very arcadey imo

PES is awful. Nothing about it is realistic. Fifa 15 sucks but PES is something else. Terrible game

I hope they're realistic about it....Max shot power at 35, goalkeepers that flap at imaginary balls, and your star striker getting sidelined for 9 months when you try and put her in the same team as John Terry

I agree PES is more enjoyable.

What's more, even though I do not own the current FIFA, I still beat all my friends on it. As I only play PES unless I am at a mates house, I can only assume PES makes you a better all round player.

I hope they actually try and develop career mode

Totally, but what draws people to FIFA is the licencing, Pace abusing, skill abusing and some pretty decent Game modes (decent).

As PES needs to brighten up, get official and add a hell of a lot more game modes

I understand but its like what do you see in PES that I don't? I try to like the game but its just terrible in all ways.I believe its a fact that PES sucks nowadays.

Career mode is in desperate need of improvement. its been the same for 5 years practically.

Get rid of scripting, improve defensive system. not saying go back to original system but all i do is press any button i can and hope it works cause all the methods told to me does not work.

Ive noticed if you try and play possession football, the ball eventually gives a forced mistake so you cant actually play it. you are forced to pace abuse. we need to allow all types of football styles to be used.

I agree, with so much needed to be improved/fixed in-game adding pointless content doesnt really help the issues. Without sounding harsh i would happily let them remove half the teams in the game if it meant the game play improved a lot, and when i say this i mean the leagues that people barely play.

They need to fix manager AI. They make the same unrealistic transfers every career mode. Never see weaknesses in the team and sort them out (On my Player Career Derby have got over 10 strikers) and they rarely play their best team, I always see Lindegaard as keeper for United even though De Gea is on the bench. They also never change formation, if you played all 15 season at the end of it they would all still be playing their default formation.

This is so far down on the list of things I and many other fans of FIFA would have wanted. An online career mode, pro clubs revamp, the return of practice matches/set pieces which they inexplicably removed for current-gen consoles or an engaging offline pro mode would have excited me far more than this novelty.

Unfortunately none of these things are likely to happen because EA can't find a way to monetize them with in-game purchases.

Not to mention all the ridiculous bugs and server issues: not being able to make subs in about 75% of co-op matches, opponents being able to freeze your players on pro clubs, goalkeepers in general being absolute idiots. There are even ways in which you can ensure you never lose a game on Ultimate Team both offline and online (haven't tried it on other modes)

However I can accept that EA won't advertise these things being fixed as some sort of flagship 'feature' considering that it would just be admitting their leading sports game is full of broken shít and haven't bothered fixing it until the new edition

There were rumours that there might be a story based career. Not sure if it means like the NBA games were you pick choices and advance or like the Fight Night Champion were the story is completely linear.

I've also seen the rumours, if they are true (and I hope they are) I will gladly eat a giant slice of humble pie
