If Klopp really is happy to come to Liverpool then the the owners should be busting a gut to make it happen.

Unfortunately these types of polls rarely give a true reflection on what the majority want.

If I had a choice between the two, I would have chosen Klopp. Rodgers doesn't deserve another season.

When you let your team implode toward the end of the season - and culminates in that 6-1 ass whipping we took from Stoke - you have proved that you can't motivate the team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When you get a team from eighth to a title challenge in two seasons it proves you can motivate a team.

Which leaves us where? Rodgers is an inconsistent motivator?!

Even before the Stoke debacle I was of the opinion that if we can get Klopp then we should, otherwise I'd still with Rodgers.

Or simply we played better as a team last season and motivation was little to do with either season. We'll need to correct that for next season and I'm sure Rodgers will get the correct striker for that.

Brendan's done well to get us challenging like we did last season.

But he's hopeless when the pressures on. His team chokes every time. He's probably too nice and spends too much time blowing smoke up the àrse of his team.

That only gets a manager so far.

TOOR, or perhaps that motivating factor came from...I don't know...Luis Suarez?

Rodgers talks a big game but can't back it up. He said he has the final say on transfers, he failed. We have lost every "big" game when we needed to win, except for Man City this season. Feck...we even lost to Aston Villa, who then laid an egg against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

At least Dalglish got us a trophy and to the FA Cup Final and that wasn't exactly a great season either...and he was let go by the owners.

We all can agree to disagree, but Rodgers is not the man to lead us forward.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So where was that motivating Suarez factor the season before? Or could it be that simply we played better as a team as I said before?

Dalglish got us a trophy and then was sacked, correct but considering that's not what the objective is, some might understand that, considering we finished so far away from the objective. Rodgers has proved he can get us beyond that objective so I'm doubtful they will get rid of him.

I wouldn't be surprised if over half wanted to go with Klopp. It's been a painful season and the ending was a kick in the groin.

However, I never trust the 'neutral' vote.

100% of 'neutrals' thought we should keep Hodgson and Houllier at his disastrous end.

and 100% of 'neutrals' wanted us to get rid of Rafa at the first bad season and Kenny after two cup finals and a trophy.

Assuming BR stays, what I'm really looking for is a define style of play. If you'd asked me this time last year what Brendan's style of football was then I'd have said pressure football, quick passing and attacks with pace.

Now, not really sure. So many of the signing don't seem appropriate for that style and I'm unsure what direction he's heading in.

I give credit for moving us to a 3-5-2 formation that got us within range for top 4 but I think most fans feel that was a pragmatic solution rather than a direction.

Obviously I'd like us to challenge strongly for the top 4 but more than anything I want us to (a) start playing attractive football again and (b) be able to see what he's trying to do and where he's taking the club.

I'd say 99 percent of Man Utd, Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea and City fans would want us to stick with Rodgers if we had a chance at getting Klopp, and that tells you everything.

Please stick with Brendan, he's building something special

that list of people is at least 6x the size of the Liverpool supporters

Rodgers to stay would be humming at about 70%

I agree, there was a complete breakdown on the way the system works. Not having a goal scoring striker saw to that. The risk didn't work, time to try again for next season. Mistakes happen.

Winding up Liverpool fans, posting an article on the Liverpool board and then deleting them when they show you up is quite pathetic.

Rodgers is a blagart that had a freak season due to suarez and sturridge, still leaked goals by the bucket load then.
He'll be gone after the first 10-15 games next season
Wait and see.

Arouna posted this five hours ago on his and TCP's two man Brendan obsession thread. Fair play to him, he managed to hold off quite a while before his child like excitement got the better of him.....

That's apparently due to the players now but due to him when they won a couple of trophies. The opposite is apparently true for Rodgers. The players got him a title challenge last season and now he moved us backwards.
