Just watched The Revenant. Thought it was ok. A lot of it very slow and hard work, punctuated by some very good scenes.

Home alone tomorrow, might tackle The Hateful Eight....

Revenant is a bit slow at times but I was thoroughly entertained by it. The cinematography and the scenery and locations were excellent as well.

Good luck with Hateful Eight if you thought Revenant was slow. Personally I thought that Hateful Eight just dragged from one boring conversation to the next and was very happy when it was finally over. Watched it with my mate and he felt exactly the same so I know it wasn't just me.

Hateful eight was so awesome I won't even say anything. The conversations are the movie, if you found them boring then you had no hope. I thought the script was one of the best myself.

Term I loved the dialogue and the exchanges and it is a good film but don't you think the whole blood and gore spoilt it?

Didn't need it in that manner IMO.

7/10 for me for that reason. QT needs to realise be doesn't need to o revert to type in every movie. Was good enough without

Consider it a trailer. It's one scene, takes about 30 secs...

But there is a huge difference between your "trailer" and that by the directors. Basically the ability to count above 8 is a huge consideration here. And anyone who watches the film for an extended period may be a little upset with your "trailer"

Having watched it I was very surprised at the negativity on here about it. It's not going to win any Oscars (not always a marker of a good film anyway!!) but it was a straightforward, typical QT film, and good Sunday afternoon viewing!
