Fury Road is a straightforward action fest. Very simplistic. It worked for me,
Furiosa is more complex, and is told in a series of chapters. Which was fine until towards the end, which felt a bit anti-climatic.
But you may appreciate the style in which Miller tells this. It’s not a rehash of Fury Road.
It’s a proper prequel and totally complements Fury Road.
Performances, nobody let’s it down. Very good.
I’ll give shout out to Hemsworth whose having a blast.
The Young version of Furiosa, who has the most difficult part to play,.
ATJ is great. Hardly says anything, but has screen presence.
But will watch it again, Miller knocks it out the park,
It’s another great Cinematic experience.

Ah... there’s a few missteps but nothing fatal.
Whereas Fury Road you don’t really notice the cgi, cos yer going at 1000 mph.. (yes, faster than a tie-fighter]
But yes, there’s the odd mis-step.
I’m still processing it.. but for me Fury Road was cinematic art, and a complete blast.
Furiosa, the brakes are pumped, and there’s greater scope in the story telling, so that’s what sets it apart from Fury Road, and I think it’s a good thing.
But when the action hits, my word, there’s a lot of practical stuff happening too, and it’s just as mental.
In some scenes even better. His imagination for action is just wild.

That’s a shame, it is a cinematic treat.
The soundtrack is track is great too. I do think the secret to this film is actually is with the young Furiosa. She’s really really good, and sets up brilliantly the Furiosa we come to know.
But where in Fury Road she’s obviously older and mature, Taylor-Joy is where you fully see her earn the Furi part of her name,
there’s also an effect that makes you Open yer eyes wider and move yer head forward to the screen in disbelief.
But, it does lose some steam, for the what felt like a rush to the end. A satisfying end, but still rushed.
That’s the only criticism I have for it.

ATJ is great. Hardly says anything, but has screen presence.
But will watch it again, Miller knocks it out the park,

That’s a shame, it is a cinematic treat.
The soundtrack is track is great too. I do think the secret to this film is actually is with the young Furiosa. She’s really really good, and sets up brilliantly the Furiosa we come to know.
But where in Fury Road she’s obviously older and mature, Taylor-Joy is where you fully see her earn the Furi part of her name,
there’s also an effect that makes you Open yer eyes wider and move yer head forward to the screen in disbelief.
But, it does lose some steam, for the what felt like a rush to the end. A satisfying end, but still rushed.
That’s the only criticism I have for it.
