Yeah good call on T2 even if it is a sequel itself. Robocop should have got a sequel I think as there was more stories to tell with Murphy. Just a shame it was a terrible sequel.

The Bridge on the River Kwai without the stiff british upper lip scenes, including most of Alec Guinness.

Oliver without Alec Guinness.

Yeh both Alien >> Aliens. And T >> T2 are worthy sequels that continue their stories amazingly and close them off perfectly. But have massive universe that other stories can be told, very much like you said with RoboCop. Unfortunately you then get different directors in who don't have the vision or want to put their own little twist, or in the case of Aliens just do weird sheite

Just finished rewatching all the Alien movies over a few weeks. Just got to wait for Romulus to come on Disney now, believe that’s in November.

Actually think I prefer the Prometheus films over the actual Alien ones. Bit more substance. Never bothered watching the Alien v Predator movies, monster v monster films not my cup of tea.
