From what I hear its a pretty good film (ignoring the ending). Comfortably better than the last 3/4.

I think cos I’ve was pleasantly surprised by Prey and Romulus, I felt both franchises had been given a fresh boost. Romulus does have flaws, but overall was very well done I thought.
And it also proved that just dialling it back, just telling a good story, with good characters, will always win over, big budgets and big explosions.

Now I’m very interested to see what this Alien Earth TV show is aboot. And hopefully they make a sequel to Prey.

the 90s has risen massively based on my most recent assessment, in part due to finding some new films, and in part due to allocating Blade Runner (which is my nr1 film) to the 90s as I use the Director's Cut.

Maybe you need to go back and watch more 1920s and 1930s cinema.
