Milioti's been great but every time she's on screen I think "kids that's how I met your mother"

I think she's one of my fave actors. Always brings a lot to anything I've seen her in

Also, apart from the Penguin mum relationship, I really don't get the Soprano comparisons.

But agree it's a good show that is getting better.

I recommend La Jetee (1962) if you can find an english version, or if you can speak french.
Only 28 minutes.

Rather enjoyed the remake, though part 2 was more comedy than horror.

Shall we just do general horror?

My favourites are the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and The Shining. Krampus was entertaining enough if that counts as horror.

in which case

Alien(s)
Terminator(s)
Predator(s)

thats the theme done then as there is no improving on those films ... bye

Jaws.

Does that class as horror? Scared the sh*t out of me as a kid anyway.

Gore or real creepy, edge of the seat stuff? I don't rate gore tbh. Much prefer the stuff that creeps you out. The Ring and The Shining for example.

More modern films, Insidious and The Conjuring.

monster hunting humans ... yup its horror uses all the traits of a monster horror film ... just like most of the better horrors like this they dont reveal the monster til about halfway through.

I hate gore based horrors , just lazy IMO. the hostel films and Saws are just messed up thoughts that a psychologist would lock the average person up for thinking.

The horrors I like mess with your way of thinking.

The original Halloween when you are just a kid watching it was scary, as was Hellraiser. Oh Evil dead too. My local video shop never cared about age verification back in the late 80s and 90s.
