There’s lists and then there’s lists for lists for lists etc….

I can’t speak for everyone, but I didn’t think this place was about that. I enjoy the general light hearted chit chat about tv and movies.

So Gladiator 2..........was just Gladiator, but bigger, better, more colourful.......but with the lite versions of the cast. It's the best cash grab I have seen. Enjoyable, but completely pointless.

I thought it was an entertaining time, story didn't go the way I thought either, but nothing on the original. Editing annoyed me at times.

From the opening ‘unleash hell…alesium’ nonsense to the actually hateable antagonists (take note any Star Wars made after the late 80s) they nailed it. Brilliant movie

Tbh I was on tenterhooks waiting for Movie Guy to give us his favourites for the xmas list.

My money was on Lucardo Fellini's adaptation of The Nutcracker. But sadly nowt

I wanted to watch a film with the kids this evening. Just something typically I would've done as a kid. Sadly the films on TV on xmas day these days just don't hold the same appeal. So I thought I'd search the best movies of 2024 but after a while came to the realisation that the standard of films this year has been pretty bloody dire.

Decided on The Instigators in the end.

watching a quiet place one, decent movie like the others, refreshing to see a cat as a kind of hero, and not some horror movie prop or a villain.
