I heard they green lit more seasons of X Files. The demand to see more is certainly there, especially with distrust in governments at an all time high and with more and more people following the UFO phenomenon these days.

Blatant Streotype... I mean, they focused on doing a gender swap, fine. But couldn't be bothered to put the ethnic woman as a scientist.

Stringer yup totally agree with you. Judging by the trailer it looks like a total rehash of the original with nothing new or original on offer at all. Even their car is exactly the same as in the original. Why?

I'm getting sick of Hollywood doing this, they basically completely rip off the original movie but just change a couple of things round like in this case an all female cast instead and we're all meant to pretend that's it not a totally unoriginal remake.

Seems there is not a single ounce of creativity in Hollywood these days. Don't they gave script writers to come up with new ideas and new original scripts instead of exactly copying what's happened before? Apparently not.

They are expecting to do multiple sequels...... and not just with the ladies.

Stringer I suspect that this Ghostbusters movie could well be this year's Fantastic Four in terms of how much of a flop it might be.

Maybe it's better than the trailer suggests but I really doubt it.

I have no problem with the all female cast by the way, in fact I was interested to see what they did with it. Sadly it just looks like another typical Melissa McArthy comedy with a load of bad CGI thrown in.

The original Ghostbusters was a classic, people should save their money and just watch/rewatch that instead.

Thing is Hollywood seems to be trying to use these PC on steroids times to their advantage.

This Ghostbusters movie judging by the trailer just seems to be a bad like for like remake of the original movie just with an all female cast instead.

It just seems to be an excuse for Hollywood to totally rip off what's been done before while pretentiously hiding behind the veil of political correctness.

They did the same thing with Force Awakens. It was just A New Hope with a female Luke Skywalker and a couple of other things switched around.

Hopefully this movie tanks at the box office so that Hollywood stops doing this.
