So far preacher strikes me as a full on comic book adaptation (ie it hits what you imagine the cells would look like - some may say cheesy, for me very cool)

Then its basically Constantine (Supernatural spin off) with a big dollop of Jessica Jones.

Its so dark stupid that i was laughing at half the dark stuff - brilliant
