Watched Venom last night and it was actually quite decent. Did not get the negative press about this movie. On a par with other Marvel movies where a character is introduced.

Dreadful film. Just awful imo.

I didn’t mind Venom. But I also liked Suicide squad which was panned by some critics and viewers. I find the Avengers films etc, which are rated quite high a little over rated actually. Best Super hero movies for me are the likes of Guardians of Galaxy, Deadpool etc. I also love Kick Ass 1+2
Beautiful Boy
Really good, acting was superb and didn’t realise it was a true story.

Ok, so i had a thought...
GB2020. No Egon. And i suppose Rick Moranis might not reprise his role. It may be Sigourney Weaver herself.
However, someone was initally asked to be a Ghostbuster back in 84, but cos they had their own Film coming out the same year, and he was the star, he declined.
But what would it take, for Eddie Murphy to play the 4th Ghost Buster? You know, lets say, Winston calls in a favour from his ‘brother’..hmm,hmm? You with me people?!?
I think its a dope idea, mainly cos i thought of it.
But i’ll let someone here, whose social media savy, take the credit, and start the Hashtag.
Get King Eddie in there now!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I like this idea a lot Stringer, especially if Eddie Murphy was originally intended to be in the original Ghostbusters and given their chemistry in Trading Places it's easy to understand that Akroyd wanted to work with Murphy again.
From what I've heard the original cast will be in this new movie but that the main protagonists will be younger.

No doubt it will be a younger cast like Star Wars has done with their reinvention, either that or they’ll go with Chris Pratt
I know a bit depressing but just watching Schindler’s list. I usually watch it at least once a year. One of the greatest and most important films ever made and what a haunting sound track. Unreal film making by Spielberg.
Watched Snowden yesterday....Decent film
Anyone watching Escape at Dannemora...building up nicely
Sheriff I’ve got it on record. What’s it like?
So Affleck is 100% out as Batman in the upcoming Matt Reeves directed Batman movie. I'm assuming that this new "trilogy" as it's being touted will have nothing to do with the Batfleck universe and be it's own independent thing.
Will be a massively missed opportunity if it doesn't tie in somehow with the upcoming Joachin Phoenix Joker movie though. Who knows what the feck DC/Warner Bros are doing though.

BRING BACK NOLAN AND BALE
Zero chance of that happening sorry. Unless Nolan's career tanks at any point I doubt he could ever be persuaded to come back to direct another Batman movie. He's done with it and rightly so.
Also Matt Reeves is getting his own shot at a Batman trilogy which could potentially last another decade or more. So unless both Bale and Nolan fancy bringing the Dark Knight back in the 2030's sometime then it couldn't happen.
More chance of getting Michael Keaton to come back for a Dark Knight Returns style movie.

Watched American Psycho the other night for the first time...
Very dated with the twin towers hair cuts music and such...but decent watch...Bale was very good
Sheriff I haven't seen American Psycho in years but I'm fairly sure it's set in the 80's which might help explain the mullet hairstyles etc

Do we really need another batman film...?
Do we really need another batman film...?
Yes... always.
This may be fan rumour but Batfleck might appear as the Old Bruce then goes into flashback mode, to the younger version.. and thats the last we see of Ben in the role.
As he is still contracted to play the dark knight one more time... think that would be a nice cameo.
Oh come on.. He's the worlds greatest detective!
Besides Columbo of course

Hey Stringer that would work but it would need to be someone that not only looks like Affleck but no can pass as a younger (for this movie) and then an older Bruce Wayne (assuming we're going to get more team up movies with the JL). Quite a big ask.
Personally I think that this Batman will have nothing to do with the Affleck Batman and will be set in it's own universe like the Dark Knight trilogy was. I could be wrong but everything I've read by Matt Reeves makes me think that. Especially if this is going to be a more grounded noir, detective story.
As I said before if this new Batman movie is set in it's own "universe" as I suspect it will be then it would be absolutely unforgivable if it doesn't link to the new Joker movie starring Joachin Phoenix (which is definitely set outside of the DCEU).
In fact it would probably be one of the biggest missed opportunities in cinematic living memory. I can't for the life of me think why we'd need a new Batman movie set in it's own universe as well as a Joker movie set in it's own universe all at the same time that the DCEU is ongoing
Might be worse than that. It may go the way you say, and Ben cameos in ‘Birds of Prey’ instead!?
If thats the case, who cares?
So who for the role. Jake Gyllenhall? Armie Hammer?
