Yup it's a real missed opportunity because the characters in the film are really good for the most part but the script and storyline was just downright weird and poor for the most part. They seemed desperate to bring an occult/witchcraft element into the storyline when there was absolutely no need. That's Hellywood for you I suppose.

Watched the newest Mission Impossible the other day, that helicopter scene is fantastic.

It's great. Certainly now overtaking the Bond movies for excitement, action and fun. Very cartoony though of course.

Watched The Mule yesterday starring Clint. Nothing special but enjoyable all the same. Not one I'd watch again but I'd imagine that will be Clint's last performance in front of the camera. Good performance from him but he's looking quite frail now. Not bad for nearly 90 though

Some of the characters were decent, some good stuff in there and had massive potential. missed the boat

At least with Ghostbusters they have a chance to rectify it.

James Gunn is going to direct a Suicide Squad "reboot" (starting to hate that word). Although if it's a reboot I'm confused because Margot Robbie is supposedly back as Harley Quinn which would surely make it a sequel as opposed to a reboot.

Heard that Idris Elba will be taking over from Will Smith as Deadshot as well.

I think term is 'Soft Reboot'.. whereby, its still in the same universe, using the same actors, but not necessarily a direct sequel/Hard Reboot..
But already, if Guardians is anything to go by, it should be epic.
Right, about to go see Captain Marvel, i do hope Bryan Robson is suing for copyrights...

Still haven't seen Get Out. Need to add it to the watchlist.

Also keep meaning to give Billions a try but always have so many other TV shows to get through first. In fact all the good TV shows get in the way of me watching a lot of movies these days.

Billions is probably better than other watch list.

Season one 7/10
Season two 9/10
Season three 9/10

So season two and three of Billions get better then. Interesting. So much of the time it's the other way round. Ok added to the watchlist then.

Shazam looks like good old fashioned fun. Hopefully it finds an audience and does well. No reason it shouldn't.

From the trailer the actor for the bloke just seems horrifically annoying and not in a good way.

Painful. Having to sit through adverts as well

Halfway through first season of Black Sails at the moment. This is my second go at it. Reasonably entertaining although quite slow. Hopefully the pace picks up a bit.
