Just getting on The Hunt now. I’m a huge horror buff, so I’m a little biased. Anyone want to talk horror, fire away

The Hunt is not really a horror film
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mix bag. Comedy/horror with a political hidden message stance. Taking the p** out of the political divide in America. Definitely has horror elements though.

Rewatching Chinatown
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great film. Haven’t seen in along while, need to revisit.
the orphanage - soul destroying paranormal
thirst - Korean vampire flick
the devils backbone - Spanish paranormal
The blackwell ghost 1-5 - documentary paranormal (short and sweet)
hereditary - no hope
house of the devil - great throwback to 70s horror
the innkeepers - lovely movie
the void - still don't know what its about. But awesome and practical fx
v/h/s - masterful at times. Anthology
Deathgasm - great kiwi based comedy horror
Hatchet - GORE
Host - unbelievably effective gimmick for very modern times
Terrified - Argentinian haunted neighborhood
A Dark Song - how much do you want it?
The Devils Candy - nails it
Slither - Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks
Boar - Aussie horror
Trying to steer clear of well known classics although being so deep into horror its hard for me to know what the general public knows about.
Cheers rtm.
Watched a bit of vhs2 a while back. Not a fan of found footage but the Indonesians segment was relentless, top class stuff. Made the film for me. It was crazy
First VHS is head and tails above the sequel where it shines. Watched it recently and has aged very well.
FYI Host is found footage but absolutely worth it. I would consider myself of the same opinion as you. Roll my eyes pretty hard at most of the films of that genre.
Did you recommend Ginger Snaps?
RTM cheers dude
Blarny been awhile since I’ve seen that, rememberc it being decent enough
Rosemary’s Baby, classic horror as it’s finest

Not had a chance to watch Doctor Sleep yet. I rate The Shining highly though, one of the few horror films that has genuinely unnerved me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ooops, meant to say I liked doctor sleep, good movie. Original shining had done great elements to it, beautifully shot, and location and well acted but I never found it scary. And yes I’m with sheriff on ms ferguson, lovely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree about ferguson.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tell you who else I find highly attractive
Sidse Babett Knudsen - she was in Inferno & latterly in the BBC drama Roadkill...(but not nearly enough in my opinion)
