Goodness me this superhero stuff is starting to be too much! Never been a fan

Deadpool looks like a darkly comedic as well as extremely violent though so something a bit different to the norm. Even if you hate superhero movies.

4zA not sure if you have Marmite in the States. If you don't then count yourself lucky

Stringer that new Battlefront game looks good. Maybe now is the time to finally upgrade to a PS4 or Xbox 360.

Have a PS3 but tempted to go with the Xbox as there seems to be more titles available now and in the future.

Yeah sadly there is so much crap coming out of Hollywood these days and I think that's why comic book movies are so in vogue because at least you know what you're going to get when you go to the cinema and watch one.

At the same time I personally think that Marvel are running out of steam a bit and that their movies are becoming a tad repetetive and formulaic.

I think the way is open for DC to come in and take over Marvel's mantle with more edgier movies like Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

About even across all fronts dude if im to be fair. But basically it comes down to: Do you prefer Halo or Uncharted, The Last of Us or ......(dunno anything similar), gears or gods of war, Forza or GT/Drive Club, Robot Dinosaurs or Dragons......

Now I know there's some that don't like the Comic Book steam roller. It is over-saturation. (Especially T.V) But is what Hollywood does, until the public vote with their wallets.
There's an obvious place for them, and I was one of those kids that dreamt of a Transformers movie and certain comic book characters being brought to life..

I do think Disney have been more quiet than usual this year, maybe allowing for Star Wars to breathe a little.
And that's a good thing. I'm not a fan of Horror, but I get it.
Nothing like the missus grabbing you all over as they freak out. Even if My right 'Testy' did take a shallacking once!

Anyhoo, summers coming to an end and well that can only mean one thing... Yes, James Bond will be here soon!

Oh no does F4 suck ? That's a shame. You can understand why they weren't showing it to anyone then right up until release.

Regarding Uncharted I couldn't be less excited. It's just too similar to Indy and the reason it probably became a game in the first place was because it was just too expensive to acquire the rights to do an Indiana Jones video game so they just stuck Indy in a present day setting, renamed him Nathan Drake and slapped the title Uncharted on it.

The only way they can really make it significantly different to Indy is if they really play on the fact that Nathan Drake is a direct ancestor to Sir Francis Drake.

But even if they do that then it just becomes too similar to National Treasure.

The Xbox has titles like Halo, Gears of War and Titanfall so very tempted to get a 360 when the time comes. Also I believe you can access SkyGo on the xbox 360 which is a bonus. Also it's a bit cheaper than PS4.

Also you have to pay for online play on both consoles now so might as well pay for the one that has the best online performance due to being a Microsoft product.

You wouldnt need to bother, these would all be backwards compatible or available as remastered copies, so if that is the preference go get an xbone mate.

My PS4 is bought just based on the titles, and my pref towards the Sony ips atm, will prob get an xbone in 12-18months.

Its honestly only the games that make a difference.

Online and Skygo you just need to take as nice bonuses rather than deal breakers

The Xbone would be my preference. Prefer the controller and other bonuses. Since the games are all pretty similar it would seem the smaller things would make the decision for you. As it is im happy with PC gaming.

Oh also the who crossover thing with windows 10 can end up being amazing.

Nah rtm this just a sales ploy and really will do nowt, and the exclusive IPS are so different they are the deal breaker. Tell me an exclusive Sony ip vs halo with the same quality, how about an m$ version of blood borne, only the racing genre has some similarities

Why are you putting such an emphasis on the exclusives? Is that really why you buy a system? Does the average gamer even look into it that much? Both systems will be successful and continue on unless something new comes in and blows it out of the water. Choosing a side is kinda childish. It seems more likely the consumer will just look at both in the shop and then say "that one looks cool, ill get that" or "thats cheaper. Getting that"
