i expect he will do too, which is why i don't really so a whole load of benefit with the deal, if mangala was 3rd choice i might have gone for safer option but he's 4th and I'm comfortable playing Denayer too so would rather take the risk and hopefully reap rewards

30 man squad that complies with squad rules needed by Tuesday so injuries for the first game of the season can be done. You are allowed to have players left out of the squad up until 1st September at which point any player outside of the 30 man squad and academy must be cut. Anyone not in the 30 man squad cannot play in the league games, they are just allowed to be kept until the transfer window in real life shuts and you decide what to do with them. Anyone who does not have a 30 man squad by Tuesday will be given extra injuries so no advantage is being gained for having extra players.

Yeah Alves would be a cracking option going forward but I prefer the defensive solidity of Lahm.

nah, suarez isnt for sale, and eriksen wouldnt even get into my 30 man squad, i have a better outright am and a better outright lw loaned out because of squad limits

im not saying hes a bad player, if id have stuck to my original plan of going to 4231 he would have been a useful backup am/lw similar to how i would have used coutinho if id have been able to bring him in, but after i got fabregas and lost mata, its shifted my focus to a straightforward 433, and i just wouldnt have much need for him as only a backup lw, and ive had to loan out ljajic because of squad limits, and i see him as a better outright lw
