He is 22 for starters and is a match winner. Match winners are a bit understated by football purists like the OP. It's the reason why I prefer Neymar to Hazard. Hazard has great build up play, great to watch but Neymar wins you games.---
My god I reckon hazard has probably won more games this year then Neymar. Hazard has done it single handedly for a lot of the season with Costa out. Neymar has the best team, best player and best striker alongside him.
Carrick £30m? He was £18m.
United didn't inflate the European market by signing Rooney and Carrick. Real Madrid did that all by themselves by continually breaking the transfer record, or there abouts.

Sorry, had the figures in euros. And again, I'm referring to young players, not established, genuinely world class players.

Point is still flawed. Madrid spend big on established and young players. Our transfer activity hasn't inflated that.

Why comment on a player of you haven't seen a lot of him? He's the real deal, there is nothing to stop him ability wise becoming the best midfield player in the world, the only thing that Pogba does from time to time is lose focus, he seems to find it hard to concentrate for 90 minutes on the job he's supposed to be doing occasionally, it's rare however, and on Ramsey being better than Pogba, that's just a sick joke frankly, Ramsey would just about make Juve's bench
Pogba has talent. No doubt about that. He is not consistent in his performances.
What the Italians understand is to make PR for players playing in Seria A. Pogba is no exception. A bit overhyped and the price over the top.
What? PR is exactly the problem Serie A has. It's why it's stock has fallen so much as a league, especially when you compare it to the prem.
Pogba is overhyped, I agree, but a lot of that hype comes from the British press and fans.

I don't really understand the overhyping but either tbh, how is he overhyped exactly? I see him described as a world class player and potentially one of the best in the world, well, he is, exactly that

He gets overhyped as this all singing all dancing midfielder when he isn't.
I don't think he's ever been Juve's best midfielder, for example. But people act like he's the best of the best.
I guess it depends who you listen to, though. Clearly an immensley talented player. But I'd hazard a guess there would be less hype around him had he not been left Man United and gone on to play well for Juve. Because, as I've mentioned, a lot of the talking up about him comes from British fans and media.
You don't hear the same from other talents in Serie A, as you well know.
But not being Juve's best midfielder isn't exactly a bad thing, man for man it's possibly the best midfield in Europe, I'd say he's probably equal second with Vidal, with Marchisio as the best, but all 3 are world class, but Pogba's potential I think is what makes people take more notice of him than the others, and his style of play, you never hear Marchisio praised much at all, but he is for me Juve's best player, he holds it all together, such a classy operator, Pogba is the man who can produce something special out of nothing, which is something the other 2 can't really do

This is true. Most of it probably comes from the fact that utd don't have a midfielder of his type and the situation was made with Scholes retiring etc.
Which is why as a midfield they are so effective, they've got a little bit of everything
But you are basically reasserting my point as to why he's overhyped. You readily admit he isn't, nor has he ever been, Juve's best midfielder, let alone best player, but he's the only one that is spoken of in such a way.
This is why he's overhyped becauae his performance doesn't justify the superlatives, especially when playing alongside superior players.
His mooted transfer fee is another matter becauae fees don't always reflect a player's ability an, or, level of performance.
Well I'd say his performances do deserve hype, it's just the others don't get the hype they deserve, depends how you want to look at it really, is he over hyped or are the others under hyped, I think it's the latter, certainly in Marchisio's case
You would because you overrate Rube players.
All of them. You are Juve's Got_Better.
I haven't ever described Arturo Vidal as the best all round CM in the world, I do remember one or two other united fans doing that though, cough Dazza, cough TRS
