Tbh I'm half Welsh half English but I've always had a little bit more affinity towards England. Tonight I was loving it though, great to see Wales getting so close to an international tournament.

Living in Wales with lots of Welsh friends it'll make the tournament more enjoyable than they usually are where my friends only focus is hoping England lose (apart from one in fairness)

I can't get into England games anymore with that idiot in charge

I'll tell you something Mew Mew

When you lot gave that rendition of your National anthem with five minutes to go, I felt emotional.

Take a leek son!

Maybe I'll keep an eye on Wales more with the idiot Hodgson in charge of England . Seriously though I do enjoy seeing Wales do well so good on you.

I've always criticised Coleman but he got it spot on last night. To be fair to him he did have massive boots to fill

The fans were awesome last night. Hopefully this will drum up more support in future, because it's usually awful down there for a Wales game.

You can't beat the feeling of international football, when it goes right... I think people slate it to put up a barrier, but the truth is, when the whole of your country is buzzing about a win, it doesn't get much better.

Italia 90 and Euro 96 are some of my best (and worst!) memories of being a football fan.

I'm half and half as well SAF, always had more affinity for the Welsh side though! I think it depends where you live though.

There is absolutely no reward in International football. I am a Germany fan and yes it was great when we won the world cup but I think club level is much more rewarding because in club football you support the team you were BORN to choose (the champ21ns), and you can't just pick what team you were BORN to choose, like you can in International football. International football is just full of glory hunting fans.

Mostly England play turgid stuff without much passion.
Followed by fans singing moronic songs and a bloody band that is so annoying.
Credit to the passion of Wales last night. They wanted it and fought like hell for it. The rendition of the national anthem near the end was spine tingling and it is perhaps the most tuneful anthem out there unlike God save the queen.
Much prefer the Pistol's version myself !

Unfortunately the national anthem of Wales is God Save the Queen so you'd better suck it up really

Very proud Welshman today!! We don't get to feel this way often in relation to our football side but how cool would it be for all the 'home nations' to get to France next summer?!

Can you imagine a group of England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland in France?

England would undoubtably finish bottom.

Wales did well, I've always thought Robson-Kanu could have played at a higher level then Reading.

The problem with Wales used to have was their defence, it would be made up of Championship/League 1 players who were out of their depth.

But apart from Gunter, they all played in the PL last season which is good and have a genuine threat going forward.

I thought expanding the Euros would ruin the competition but it seems to have given Wales, Scotland and N.I a shot in the arm and all three could qualify along with England, that would be brilliant IMO.

I was happy that we beat Belgium last night, we defended brilliantly in my opinion. we kept Hazard quiet as well.

Great buzz in Cardiff last night. We played well and kept Belguim quiet.

Not counting ant chickens but we should do it now.

Right then now to round 2 of drinking in Cardiff. I was drunk last night and I am getting there again today.

Cymru am byth!

Matth's my long lost brother

Or half brother seen as he is just Welsh.

Melton out of interest is it somewhat the opposite effect, more time in England more affinity for Wales?
