Why won't Sterling be a match winning player?
He already wins more matches for Liverpool than the Ox does for Arsenal.

Unsubstantiated, blanket statements; the bastion of the Internet football pundit. Frightening.
That was in support of you, Darren, as opposed to aimed at you. My apologies if it wasn't clear.
Sterling is a year and a half younger as well, suggesting that Ox has much more potential is a pretty weak point to the argument with nothing to back it up.
How does Sterling have a bad attitude?
Trains hard reportedly and works hard in games.
What's the problem?
Ox without a doubt, if he stays injury free he will turn into one heck of a player, he had everything in his locker.

Apparently, and this started with our own fans, wanting to leave a club means you have a bad attitude.

Sterling has played 13 more games for Liverpool Tha Ox. He has more goals, more assists, completes more key passes, completes more dribbles, make more tackles.
No doubt?

Agree that it's not necessarily the case; his poor performances since this has come out will help perpetuate that view.
If Ox could stay fit and get a whole season on our first team under his belt, he would be viewed much more positively, and while I wouldn't personally swap him for Sterling (he goes past players for fun, has a monster long shot and is a pretty intelligent player - plus he works hard; I'd even say he's been our most consistently dangerous forward when he's been fit) it's evident that Sterling is the more proven player, despite being younger.
Ox is nearly 22 and can't even hold down a place in the Arsenal team, a team who are not good enough to win the league or get anywhere near winning the CL.
Why Arsenal fans think he is a world beater is beyond me.
Sterling is the best player at a team who finished only 13 pta behind Arsenal.
Sterling starts for England every game despite only being 20. Ox got in the England squad before him and can't hold down a place in the team.
Sterling is better, everything points to it.

If Ox is fit, he starts for us. If he's fit and starts for us, he'll start for England. "Everything" being based on who starts for whom - based in this logic, I suppose Phil Jones is also a better RB than Clyne?

You clearly don't understand the concept of injuries.
Anyway, I'll give a serious response: Sterling is ahead now and I don't think many can argue with that. However, there's something about Ox that makes me feel like he can be an absolute beast once it all clicks for him. He has all the ingredients and the key thing is that when he is fit he always seems to be improving, unlike Sterling who had a great last season then seemed to regress a bit.
However, I also fear that Ox may never be able to stay injury-free, meaning he'll never make it to that level.
Everything being stats, level of performance, acknowledgement from within football, position at their club, position for their country.
Ox has had some injuries but still doesn't get in Arsenals team when everyone is fit.
He isn't better than Ramsey. He isn't better than Cazorla. He isn't better than Ozil. He isn't better than Sanchez. He isn't better than Walcott.
Don't tell me, that's because they are all amazingly good not because Ox is decent and no more.
Coq Ramsey
Ox Ozil Alexis
Walcott
Likely going to be our front 6 next season. Ox was starting every week before his injury.

That'll be your front six for one game. Then Walcott and the Ox will get injured.
So you're not hanging on to Cazorla and not buying anyone to go in your first team up front or in any of your midfield places? And not playing Wilshire or Giroud, both of whom Wenger quite likes. Ok then, I guess Ox has a guaranteed place.
Cant see us getting a striker. Cech, a DM and possibly a CB. Ramsey Cazorla and Ozil can't play in the same team so one will have to drop out. If it was up to me it would be Ozil but I think it's gonna be Cazorla sadly

Tough one, both pretty different players. Would take Sterling in a heartbeat though, very good player.
