Let the bidding war begin !
City should just cough up. The American owners are absolute gem in selling.

I'd rather they were bad at buying rubbish.
Hate for them to excel at buying rubbish
@TonyBarretTimes: Ian Ayre has travelled to Chile as Liverpool close in on a £29m deal to sign Roberto Firmino.
How much
w could get Bacca and Firmino for pretty much the sterling cash....
CFC and City for a £50M bidding war..nice!
tbf £29M is about right for a top young talented player like Firmino. If he was English be more like £50M

29m?
Don't think he's worth that! Hope that's dollars or euro's.
Couldn't we have gone back in for Mkhitaryan?
It's 25m upfront apparently........

I did say on the "trio" thread that his fancy name will mean he will cost a lot more.
Told you
Echo said earlier would be between 25-30, not that surprising.

Thing is, we're potentially up against United for him. We need to go high to stand a chance......
very good sign from the club that the are going high to get talent. Exactly what was needed. Only need 2 more in that bracket, we should be fine.

Understand Liverpool have reached an outline agreement with both Firmino and his club. Ian Ayre in Chile to try and complete deal
Seems like it's very much on the cards
@BenSmithBBC: Firmino deal is not dependant on Liverpool selling Raheem Sterling but certainly adds to the sense it is a matter of when not if ...
Is not dependant on selling Sterling?
Nice one.
